The out door area has a lot of potential. It is a large space with a new bbq area for people who pay to use that facility. The rest of it is old and worn.
There is a sand area behind the slide outdoors that has a very sorry looking volleyball net and the sand is not plentiful or level.
The lazy river is absurdly small and probably the fastest lazy river I've ever been in, which was admittedly fun.
The slide was fun. Toddlers can ride on your lap, no floaties or goggles. The toddler area was pretty good with little swings to jump in.
The water was the merkiest, cloudy water I have ever seen in a pool. It was gross with an oily film on top.
There are pool tables at the opening before the swimming area. You also walk by the basketball courts. There is a concessions stand prior to going outside to the covered indoor/outdoor pool.
Spiders! Don't leave your stuff on the ground. We found a couple of them scurrying around near the pool for water.

Read moreWell, I’ve frequented this pool numerous times but today’s experience got me annoyed. The men’s shower facility has 3 shower stalls running the showers continuously. I was able to turn one of them off but the other two stalls were locked from the inside. I told the two girls at the reception desk about this problem and commented that the St. George regions probably had water resource limits that made it a scarce resource. They asked me if I could tell the lifeguard while they sat behind the desk and socialized between themselves and with no incoming guests to deal with. I told them that advising there lifeguard was their responsibility and not mine. As I walked out the front door I shoulder checked to verify that neither one of them got out of their seat to do anything about it. If it was up to me, this would have been a great teachable moment on what their responsibility entailed. I know it’s hard to get good staff these days...
Read moreLarge indoor swimming area with tons to do. Not very baby friendly. They did not allow the inflatable we brought for our 1 year old son. They didn't have anything to support him in the water. Only life vests that were too large, meant for older kids. Made our experience less enjoyable. I do like the amount of seating and lounge chairs there is available outside of the pool area as well as the convenient window where you can order food and drinks. This place is better in the summer when it's warm and they open up the side wall doors. With the doors closed it felt muggy and wet everywhere before you even step into the water. The giant bucket in the center that fills up with water and dumps over is fun to be around. There's also a large water slide that goes outside the building and loops back in that is pretty cool. Overall, we enjoyed the Sand Hollow Aquatic...
