*In response to comment. Your prices are listed for non-insurance. My complaint is about the cost AFTER insurance and the required chiro visit. I should have been informed how much I would owe upfront, like other doctor offices provide. And my insurance DOES NOT require a chiropractor visit. This has been the case for 10 plus years and is still the case since I have been seen at other offices after this one. This is just a strategy this office uses to charge clients more!
This clinic grossly over charges and requires a chiropractor visit to be included with a massage appointment. My insurance has never required such nonsense. This office charged me x3 what a normal massage and chiropractor visit costs me anywhere else. And they claim they are in network with my insurance. The massages are not worth the extra cost, they are no better than any other massage therapist I have been too. And the chiropractor is mediocre at best. She only focuses on what the place of discomfort on the chart. For the price she is charging I expected a full body adjustment, every visit. There are several great offices I have been to since that do not charge these ridiculous prices after insurance. I promise this place is not worth...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHave had several massages through this place. Was never displeased with the massages, however their billing department needs better training. In order for billing purposes I had to be checked out by their chiropractic staff, which always seems reasonable. Upon bringing in a prescritpion from my family doctor for massage therapy, they told me they will/can not bill my insurance unless their "chiropractor" gives me an exam. Three other massage clinics I contacted said all they needed was the note from my doctor for billing purposes. Seems like a scam to me. Will not be returning to this place again.
Customer service does matter. The owner reached out to me, figured out my insurance billing and got me in a couple days later. When Candice worked me over and got me moving again. Good game Alaska massage Clininc....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI called to confirm if I could use my chiropractor for a referral to get a massage through this company and they confirmed what other people have written. I have to make an appointment with their chiropractor, which is located in the same building in order for my insurance to pay for a message. Iāve had a pinched nerve for three weeks. Now that my chiropractor has released the pinch nerve, I need a massage to release the very tense muscles. However, this place will not be doing this because Iām not paying for another chiropractor appointment if there is no need for it. They replied to another person who put this same type of review making it sound like they fixed things and made it right. Well, I am here to confirm the facts so there is no confusion with my fellow...
