(It's hard to find dedicated Peeople, who are truly INVESTED in serving the community in this world we live in) ...but, Cole •APPROACHED me with a genrous smile and a desire to serve & help me. VERY KIND & GENEROUS WITH HIS HEART Cole, asked me if he could help me find what I was looking for~ (and instead of STAYING BEHIND THE COUNTER) Cole walked with me-outside to show me various options of the products I was looking for. *NO PRESSURE TO BUY!!! I own rental property in the area and visit this store often. Went in today for plumbing parts and was helped by an older man with suspenders. He seemed inpatient when I tried to describe what I needed and wouldn't look at pictures I had to show him the problem. Said "yeah that's all you need!", and walked away. It wasn't all I needed and I had to return. The same older man was helping someone else and seemed very talkative with the gentleman. When it was my turn he never made eye contact just said , " yeah what you need! " I explained he grabbed the fitting basically threw the part to me and walked away. I'm a Black man, US veteran and retired police officer. I have dealt with all types of people. The only difference between me and the other customer was the color of my skin. Clean store, with good selection. The only issue was with the woman at the front desk, older woman with glasses. She was very rude and not helpful at all, I would definitely agree with the review before that says she acted like she wanted nothing to do with me. It’s extremely unsettling for the customer especially for a store that offers so much, yet lacks in the key thing which is customer service! She did not greet me upon entry as well but I get that you can’t greet every person. But in total her demeanor and attitude were every detail of what condescending means.
