Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Waterford Township

Hello all. Story time of my horrible experience.

I ordered takeout on October 6, 2024 for my brothers birthday dinner. Simple order 30 boneless 10 bone in of different flavors. Nothing difficult.

I went to pick it up at scheduled time. Wasn’t ready so I sat and waited. In a few minutes they brought a few bags up and called our names, but not mine so I kept waiting. After a few more minutes I went up and asked when it would be done and they turned around and pulled my order from the shelf. They said they forgot to read my name. I said okay thanks excited to finally have my food.

I then went to my car and checked my food. I could tell it wasn’t right, not exactly how, but it was wrong, it was missing items for sure.

I went back in to check. I told the guy at the register and he checked it in haste and said it was was correct. So I said “bet, my bad” figured I was in the wrong.

I got home and I WAS CORRECT. They forgot all the bone in wings. That was like $15. Then the 20 piece boneless wasn’t the right sauces.

It’s my brothers birthday, so I got to make this right I call. I’m put on hold for 5 minutes. Then they say they’ll call me back shortly.

6 hours go by. I had to go get another option for dinner cause the wings were horrible. Only a few worth eating. And I still didn’t get a call back. So I called again. And was put on wait again. This time for 15 min.

This manager had excuses on excuses, which I understand, she can’t be everywhere at once. But I just wanted a refund for the missing 10 bone in wings. Not the incorrect flavors on the other part of the order. Just what I didn’t get. She said she couldn’t do that, but would send a gift card in the mail covering that and more.

At that point I wasted enough time. I agreed and she took my address. Well it’s been 13 days since and I received nothing. I’ve disrupted the extra charge with my bank and won( only the price for the missing wings, even though they messed up the other order I did get food…).

My advice to anyone that wants to eat here. Don’t. KFC and Detroit wing co are in walking distance. Just eat there then go here for the tvs. I see no point on wasting money on the trash food.

i have been coming to this location for years, since it is the closest to my house, however with a new one opening up in a different city, i will be sure to go to that one from now on. i have given this location many, many chances, but i am just fed UP!!! I’VE HAD IT UP TO HERE!!!!! every time my family comes, we have extremely slow service. whether it’s a poor server or slow cooks (even when we are the only ones of a few in the restaurant) we always spend way longer there than we ever should have to! simple instructions such as “no lettuce” or “extra tomato” are consistently ignored or incomplete. the wings are always just ok and we are given super tiny wings (as small as an inch or so inches sometimes) as a part of our 10 or so full boneless wings promised. i am not paying for crumbs! also, their music machine in the back side of the restaurant doesn’t even work and ate my money. it was very upsetting and i wasn’t able to have it returned to me.

this location isn’t ALL horrible, as their quarter toy and candy machines are always stocked with something interesting and typically their boneless wing sauces are quite good and their burger patty’s are very delicious, even when on their own, the cons HEAVILY outweigh this location’s positives. this certainly isn’t the way most other buffalo wild wings locations operate, so why must this one be different? no wonder this place is consistently empty! i haven’t visited them when they were busy in years! get it together, bdubs, and maybe, just maybe, we will return to your location. i’m very disappointed that i have come to...

Let me start out by saying this was the most unbelievable experience Ive ever had. Not in a good way. To start off the manager, Im assuming told us he’d put a few tables together since our party was for 9(4 adults, 5 kids) . He may have done so, but never returned to inform us or walk us to our table. Just left high and dry. After getting to the table, everyone quickly began to realize how cold the restaurant was. No exaggeration, it was probably 45 degrees inside. Then came the issue.. we ordered right away. All basic stuff, wings, a couple wraps, and mac n cheeses for the kids. IT TOOK 2 HOURS TO GET THE FOOD!! First the waitress apologized that there was only 3 of them, then the issue was the cooks, then they were “ three pages behind on orders”. Once the food came, after cranky, tired, hungry kids struggled to keep it together, MULTIPLE things were wrong/missing. Food was ice cold like the atmosphere, wrong/missing ingredients, and no sides. Man.. what a downfall Bdubs’s has taken. If this is the norm, alone with exaggerated prices for average food at best.. it won’t be long before this closes his door for good. 50% of the restaurant was empty but the tables still had the messes from previous guests rotting away at the table.
