We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Elk’s Club, and I must say, the day of the event was absolutely wonderful. The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful surroundings that made for an unforgettable backdrop to our special day. Our guests were in awe of the setting, and everything looked perfect. The on-the-day coordination was exceptional. The staff were attentive, professional, and ensured that the event ran smoothly. From the setup to the service, everything was handled with great care and efficiency. We couldn't have asked for a more seamless experience on the day of our wedding. However, I must mention that the planning process was a bit confusing and challenging. Communication with the vendor could have been better, as there were times when it was difficult to get clear answers or timely responses. This caused some stress during the planning phase, which could have been avoided with more streamlined communication and clearer guidelines. Despite the planning hiccups, the overall experience at The Elk’s Club was positive, and we are incredibly grateful for how beautiful our wedding day turned out. If you're looking for a venue with breathtaking scenery and fantastic day-of service, The Elk’s Club is definitely worth considering. Just be prepared for a bit of a challenge in the...
Read moreWhile the building is beautiful and most of the staff were great, the bartender and “security” were incredibly rude to the bride and entire bridal party. They spent A LOT of money to have their wedding there and were disrespectful all night and made everyone feel uncomfortable. The bartender refused to prioritize the bridal party for drinks, halting them from being able to take photos in a timely manner. They asked for a ton of money to only have one bartender on staff for a very large group of people, so there was a significant line for drinks all night.
The security guard was creepily checking out the women all night while at the same time being incredibly rude and unprofessional. We had actual police officers in attendance as guests, and even they couldn’t believe how Paul Blart was acting. Even pacing up on the stage staring everyone down while we ate dinner. You would think he would be more concerned with waiting by the entrance to ensure there weren’t people going to be drinking and driving (his job) instead of ogling the women and treating/questioning all the guests, pulling them out from the dance floor to interrogate them like a wanna be cop.
Pay 7k to this place if you want to be treated poorly and your guests to be treated poorly on the most important day...
Read moreMy sweet friend got married here this weekend and the bartender, security guy and wedding staff were horrible to the entire bridal party. The security guy was lurking on the bridesmaids and not doing his job, the wedding staff were extremely rude and petty. They threw empty shooter containers in our boxes to pick up after the wedding - extremely passive aggressive and unnecessary. The bartender was completely rude and rolled her eyes each time someone from the bridal party asked for a drink. As the bridal party a couple of us asked for a drink for the cocktail hour and we were told we need to wait like everyone else. I told her we are the wedding party and she told us “okay, and? You see that I’m busy”. Overall the staff was unprofessional and over the top rude to everyone. Weddings are a special day and the bride should not have to worry about things like this. I would not recommend this place to anyone for events, especially weddings. I was astonished how poorly we...
