Previously, when my card was swiped or tapped, the POS machine would display how many rewards points I earned and my current points balance. However, during my last few orders, this information has not appeared.

Con Amor is a bakery with really good food but prices that are difficult to justify.

The good: The quality is there. Their pastries are fresh, flavorful, and occasionally very unique. I’ve enjoyed trying some of the new items they roll out from time to time.

The not-so-good: The pricing is simply too high for what you get. For example, their specialty croissants are tasty, but the cost feels out of proportion to the size and value. Another disappointment was their rewards program; I had built up a lot of points, only to have the program discontinued without warning, leaving me with nothing to redeem.

Overall, while the food itself is very good, I personally can’t recommend Con Amor right now given the cost. If their pricing were adjusted to something more reasonable, I’d be much more enthusiastic about...

Let me tell you about Con Amor! My best friend found this place and wouldn't stop raving about it. For her birthday, she requested a pastry from there, so of course, we had to go. A word to the wise: show up early! I arrived 10 minutes before opening and there was already a line. They opened right at 11, and the line moved fast—I was in and out in about 10 minutes.

It's a splurge, but let me tell you about the Dubai Chocolate Crookie I got for myself... it was worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY. I'm not exaggerating. The fillings and toppings were decadent and perfect, but the pastry itself was on another level—incredibly crispy, buttery, and flaky with a subtle, savory umami note from the yeast. I savored that thing for as long as I could.

I sell dessert for a living. That said, I have pretty high standards for sweets and Con Amor Bakery & Cafe absolutely ticks EVERY box you could ever have. Her croissants are among the best desserts I have had ANYWHERE. The fillings and fruit toppings are delectable and fresh. The pastry itself is honestly perfect. I do not believe you could make them any better than these. The mango and tres leches croissants were my favorite of the box but literally every one of the treats we got today was exceptional. This place is a true, real deal pastry shop that rivals any I have been to accross the country. You MUST try it but fair warning...go right when they open. They sell out quick for a reason and you dont want...
