One of the better pawn shops, friendly staff, who really TRY to be reasonable with some very unreasonable people. If you could be a fly on the wall there for a week, and see the folks and attitudes who come in, you could understand if a staff member might be a bit short, but they really try to be friendly and polite to everyone. The missing star is for posted ads on walls that could be considered misleading or false..this is an issue that is being worked on. Also this is the ONLY location I know of in the corridor (Waterloo to Iowa City) who only give you 60 days- the rest give 90..we had to get our stuff back off the shelf at 65days(thank the gods it hadn't sold) so that was frustrating, but they made it right- buyback was normal payoff instead of shelf price. EzPawn is one of the best pawnshops to go to , The staff here are very polite. Aries is one of the best employees I’ve ever met. I give her a hard time every time I go there. She definitely needs a raise because I’m a germ phobic. I don’t touch nothing and she understands my needs as I’m getting to know everyone they know that I don’t touch anything and offer me disinfectant which is really cool. I get a laugh on all of them there. I have bought numerous things for the last two years.
