We've been buying our meat here for quite a while now and I cant say enough about this place. To start with, the people who run this place are not only personable, but they have gone out of their way time and time again to fill any request we've had. The quality of the meat is top notch here across the board. There are other butcher shops locally and I've patronized each of them many times over the years. While I cant really complain about the other shops, I can say with confidence that Emery's in Waterville is a shinning star comparatively. We've found that their products are ALWAYS of only the best quality and the personal touch that these folks pass on makes it fun to shop here. I have to say, I love this place! I went in today and as always this couple that runs the place are always so accommodating and honest. I went to the counter and asked the guy if he could take a ribeye and grind it for hamburger. He told me that it was a rookie move in the nicest way and then recommended beef chuck. I went with it, I love ribeye but, this was cheaper and because of it; I bought more. It was wonderful. This is the number one spot that leads in non-disappointment. You are a Jewel!! Mad love...

Hands down my favorite place to buy all my meats! Family owned and operated by GREAT people, who are always willing to discuss options and give you ideas or advise if needed.
