EDIT: 7/30/2025 . I wanted to add to this a highly helpful experience I had on 7/29/2025 with the gamestop employee working in the evening. I had been looking to potentially trade in my switch 1 and I went in there angry because Bullmoose had offered a stupidly lowball offer on my large switch 1 collection with many highly collectible and sought games. The offer Bullmoose made was so low that to put it here in comparison to going rates would be almost unbelievable. This guy went through my games and was honest that their prices would not match close to Bullmoose due to it being based off of Gamestop pricing. That being said: gamestop was 100% transparent on what they would pay out on each game where bullmoose wouldn't even tell me what they were paying on each game. I had planned on selling my switch 1 due to hearing about switch 1 games being rom dumped, resold, and then bricking old and new consoles because of the copy paste of the same game key unique to the card. Not only did this employee explain the low numbers being effected but also that so long as you keep old receipts from where you purchase the games then you're safe. Thank you for the clarification and the transparency. You saved me from not only me selling my switch 1 but also prevented a potentially substantial loss of value by the thousands. Very thankful for this employee and gamestop. I'll have to shop here more frequently. . . . I don't come here to often to buy games however that being said: I love buying the collectibles. Called today to ask about the life size pokemon plushies and the man who was running the counter was extremely polite and helpful. Got there and it was even on sale! A $60 life-size plush for $48! I was very happy because I drove that way to specifically get the Cubone plush. The plush was very clean and had that new plush smell unlike other places where there new but have a slight nasty odor. Haven't shopped there all that much. I don't game very much. They do have an excellent selection of collectibles and really know the stuff when it comes to inventory and upcoming releases. Extremely polite, had everything I was looking for and even alerted me to specials I was unaware of. Plan on doing a lot more shopping there so when they offered the "pro" membership I bought it...the discounts and special days will more than make up for the cost. Very impressed with...

I'm writing this review while I sit outside of GameStop here in Waterville that I was told on the phone yesterday by them they would hold a game for me that I could pick up at "10am when they open". I got here to read a sign that says they open at 11am. It is 12:00 now and still not opened. By the reviews I see this is a common thing here.
