Hannaford — Local services in Waterville

I've really tried to like this location. I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt several times. I stop here everyday to grab an energy drink with hopes that I could grab something for lunch also. The only thing they focus on is the hot bar which is way overpriced. They never have any chicken sandwiches or spicy chicken sandwiches out during lunch time. They will advertise 2 for $6 but they never have sandwiches out for customers to purchase. I have been in that store over a hundred times just from my lunch breaks and twice in 2 years they have had one sandwich out and that's the only time I have ever seen one out there. Today I was hoping to grab one because they were on sale, And of course I go in there and it's completely empty. The thing that pisses me off is the so-called workers in the kitchen area are just standing around goofing off, laughing, dancing around. It's like they put a couple chicken sandwiches out in the morning and call it good for the rest of the day. Where is the management at the store? And why aren't they going around the store to make sure everything is up to par? I've never seen a manager walking around like I do at other hannaford's. This store is full of employees who are just standing around talking to each other every time I go in there. A lot of these people are just there to collect a paycheck. They have no pride in their work. And that reflects on leadership or lack of in this case.

These workers need leadership.

It may sound petty to some people but I don't care. I will remove my review when this place starts putting chicken sandwiches out...

Came in with one of their red baskets didn't plan on getting that much. By the time I got to the counter I had a little bit more than I anticipated they asked me if I wanted a paper bag I said no I have a recyclable bag in my vehicle I'll just put it in the basket and carry it to my vehicle and then deposit it at the cart station. I was promptly told that I was not allowed to bring the basket out of the store. This would have been more than fine if I didn't have more than I could carry at that point The cashier watched me grab cat litter milk in the same hand and juggle a ripped paper bag and did absolutely nothing to help the situation. Of course this all stems from the liberals voting out a completely recyclable resource in plastic for a completely limited resource in paper. This happened at 6:15 May 26th on register 4. Not so much blaming the obviously clueless cashier, more so blaming the stores horrible policies that force their customers to be alienated...

Domonic C. sells booze to ANYONE, then insults you...Ignored by him from the second we started to check out, then starts whining to his friend about how he wishes he could get promoted for more money. I simply stated he shouldn't have applied as he doesn't check anyone's ID, then he said to me I look about his Mom's age which he said is mid to older 40's...forget the insult...WHO is this kid selling booze as an 18yr old kid...how is it that he can tell by looking at people how old they are? The discretion of this should not be left up to a young child, who then instead of admits his wrong doing (illegal actions*) but masks it with thinly veiled insults. This kid should be fired. To not card is one thing, to brag about promotions in the face of it, THEN insult the customer afterward is an entirely another thing. I will never shop there again if this kid is in charge of anything. He is not responsible enough to...
