I called about some tickets that were sent to collections without any warning or notice. One ticket was from 2019 and the other was recent but I was told that I didn't need to come to court and that I just needed to pay the money when I got it. All I wanted was information on how to solve the issue and I asked a question of why didn't I get sent any warnings or notice of anything and the lady told me that this was not a convenience store very rudely. In the days of technology and ease of online access, I find it frustrating and inconvenient that this office does NOT give out child support case information over the phone. You can bank online & over the phone; you can get medical information online/over the phone; file your income taxes online/over the phone; you can apply for public assistance/medicaid online/over the phone---but you can't get status on a child support disbursement WITHOUT physically come down to the circuit court clerk office.
