🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟+5+5+5♾️ Firstly let me get this out of the way; Mark and Teresa Pytlowitz, and their lousy review shows the pettiness of some individuals who feel extremely entitled to be served before everyone else who were there before them. 🙈🙉🙊! Anyway, the bartender Armand, you may have seen them in a few movies, and David Kirk the manager owner, no relation to James T, run a fine establishment. Everything on the menu is fantastic. When there is a show in town, you have Performers, Roadies, that regularly come in and eat at David's establishment. That tells you something right there. He definitely is known around the circuit, providing excellent quality in his establishment. For people who feel the need to drag down an establishment because they weren't served out of their turn, well, what does that say about They themselves? They worship at the altar of Me'ism. Everything is premium quality in Lucky Scottie. All beef is Angus, all other meats are USDA grade A choice which is hard to find nowadays. All sauces and pasta dishes are homemade, nothing is ever frozen. The Nachos and Calamari are to die for. Their strawberry lemon drop martini? Bomb diggity. They keep your glasses full! I would never ever give this establishment anything but five or above stars. And if you're in town for a show, stop in, everything is made to order, so it may take 15 or 20 minutes. That's why you sit at the table, sip on a drink, have some really intellectual conversations, and absorb the ambience. If you're in a hurry, go home and pop in a Swanson microwave dinner! And just so you know, 235 million folks have looked at my reviews and photographs. There's a reason for that! So please, give David Kirk and his establishment Lucky Scottie some love, the prices are more than competitive. And the food quality is even better! 😊 New menu items next week. I guarantee, you will not be disappointed. I think David's pushing for a Michelin star ⭐

Lucky Scottie’s is truly a hidden gem that offers an unforgettable experience. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with warmth and friendliness by Gina and David, who make you feel like part of the family. Their hospitality is unmatched and sets the tone for a delightful visit. The food at Lucky Scottie’s is nothing short of amazing. Each dish is presented with great care and attention to detail, making the dining experience not only delicious but also visually appealing. The menu offers a variety of options that cater to different tastes, ensuring that there’s something for everyone to enjoy. What truly sets this bar apart is its welcoming atmosphere. It’s a lovely local spot where you can relax, unwind, and feel right at home. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, Gina and David’s genuine friendliness makes each visit special. In summary, Lucky Scottie’s is a must-visit for anyone looking for great food, exceptional service, and a place that feels like family. Highly recommend!!!

We had such a great time at this bar that we ended up going twice during our short vacation! Both nights featured live music with a DJ, which gave the place a fun and energetic vibe without being overwhelming. The food really impressed us—everything was made fresh, which is rare to find at a bar. Drinks were solid and strong, with a great selection of martinis (their specialty), and each one we tried was spot on. Our waiter—who I’m pretty sure is also the owner—was incredibly nice and down to earth. You can tell he genuinely cares about the place and wants every customer to have a great experience. That personal touch really made a difference. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

(Their slogan should be frozen never fresh!)I was there the other day with family to try something new and grab a cocktail before going to a show. The drinks were okay but they were super strong and over poured. I ordered chicken and the inside was still pink and frozen. Also the steak my wife had ordered was over cooked and looked horrible, served on a bed of plain mashed potatoes. My son's fries were under cooked yet still tasted burnt ( pure sign of extremely dirty oil they use in their fryer) I walked past the kitchen to use the bathroom and it had to be the worst kitchen I've ever seen! As someone who is a executive chef in the city of Chicago this place is honestly piss poor. There was an open ketchup container, raw food next to ready to serve food and the worst thing of it all there were more roaches then I could count! Also evidence of mice because there were mouse droppings everywhere! I actually saw a cook walk from downstairs back up to the kitchen with frozen squid and frozen plastic wrapped chicken with freezer burn covered in ice! The best part about the meal was the server I had and leaving that place. I brought the attention to the owner David and all he did was make excuses and say "Oh well this is how it's supposed to be prepared)" he's obviously never cooked before nor owned a restaurant. Oh and may I add their kitchen where they clean the dishes is just a person with dish soap hand washing them with no sanitizing solution or proper temperature water. The glasses my family were using either were dirty or had lipstick still on them. Honestly the worst experience I've ever had at a (higher end) restaurant. This is the dirtiest establishment I've ever seen! This place looks like it's never been mopped, smells moldy and the music was super inappropriate for me and my kids. I didn't enjoy my dinner nor will I be coming back and I will be telling all my friends and family the same. I hope this review helps people and saves them time and money. Also he pays for reviews and gets all his food frozen from Restaurant Depot in Gurnee. Someone like David should never own a restaurant. There's a reason why EVERYONE in Waukegan talks bad about this guy and...

Here’s what I can tell you. First part of our party arrived at 5:15pm. We arrived 5:25pm. Ordered appetizers at 5:37pm. Ordered entrees at 5:46pm. At 6:10pm, started to asked if anything will be coming out shortly, like our appetizers. Because there was a show, they get overwhelmed with people wanting to all eat and get out in time for the concert. We told them that our main host at our table was a tour manager for the concert and needed to hurry back in time for a 7:30pm start. Was told our order should be out shortly. By 6:27pm still nothing and 4 tables ate and left and came in after us. Manager finally comes over at 6:46pm. Explaining nothing and cannot get us any idea what is happening in the kitchen. Threaten us that if we got upset, he’d get upset and things would get ugly. Not professional at all. Our tour manager friend had to choose and bail, going back to the theater and at least eat what was being catered there. The rest of us followed him out and had to leave and go elsewhere. I recommend the Jamaican place across the street. Friendly, tasty and served fast.

Just an FYI The owner responded to my review. He thought that I was the person he was speaking to. Afraid he was badly mistaken. I sat and watched the exchanged made between him and my colleague who invited us to this establishment. I need to point out his lack of concern to us all not being given and consideration of the lack of service we were receiving. As well as the pure rudeness he was expressing to my colleague who invited us by threatening him that he, the customer, was in the wrong. His rudeness and lack of empathy is what made us leave his establishment. I feel a 1 for the food rating is fare, considering we received no food whatsoever. Nor any grantees we would get any service after the exchange. Say what you will about Lucky Scottie, but this owner is not someone who puts customers...
