Walgreens — Local services in Waupun

This week I had an experience that most people pray would never happen to them: A patient stabbed me with a dirty needle. I went to the hospital and then went to get my medication at the Waupun Walgreens. The medication is ridiculously expensive, but my workman’s compensation would take care of it. To put a long story short, my workman’s compensation couldn’t figure out some details on their end, and the Waupun Walgreens pharmacy didn’t have the medication. I was panicking. All the pharmacies were closing and my workman’s comp was closing. Dylan (the pharmacy manager) stayed after closing to figure out my workman’s comp situation and get me to an open pharmacy in Sun Prairie that had the medication stocked. He could have very easily called it a day and told himself it wasn’t his problem. But in a moment that I needed somebody to help me and care about me, Dylan stepped up. The employees are very nice, I've never had an issue with anyone working here. The pharmacy hours are extremely rough though. I work during the entirety of their hours and with no weekend hours it means that I can only feasibly pick up my RXs two days during the week. I've started using the Beaver Dam Walgreens for convenience.

Their stock is somewhat limited and certain things are far more costly than if you just went to Walmart instead. This is a really good place to get vitamins and lotion though. They tend to have a lot of deals. I've gone here probably five times over the last six months and every time I've gone there's been a buy one get one deal on the vitamins.

I really like their rewards program as well. The paperless receipts is great. I think the only real way that this place can improve in my eyes would be to have 1-2 self checkouts. Their employees tend to be pretty slow at checking out and bagging compared to...

My daughter &I came into the Waupun,WI location on 5/4/23 checked out at 5:12pm. I was a daily to take the survey wanted to compliment a worker named Caitlyn who came to photo to help us with a last minute picture My daughter needed to make a gift for her friend that was graduating nursing school.
