Bought a used truck in May 2016 with documentation saying it had no problems and that the equipment requirements were all legal. Within one month, on 6/14/16, the truck was at our local mechanic for repair (we do not live in Wautoma). Our mechanic found that the following needed attention: steering suspension/front shocks/struts, as both the front leaf Springs were broke, the left wheel bearing was bad, the upper and lower ball joints were loose, the fuel filter needed attention, the transfer case oil condition was poor, rear front axle oil condition was bad, the power steering oil condition bad, belt and hose condition needed attention for a cracked belt and the check engine light was on. The rear axle vent tube was also off. One of the front wheels was so bad our mechanic told my husband he couldn't believe the wheel hadn't fallen off. Our mechanic replaced: left rear spring, both front coil springs, loft lower ball joint, upper control arm and ball joint assemblies, left front wheel bearing and hub assembly, both front sway bar links, and performed a front end alignment. We also had a recommendation to replace the fuel filter, transfer case oil change, transmission flush, power steering flush, and serpentine belt replacement for crack. Total cost for that repair, $2,339.49. We had to spend an additional $300 for some of those additional recommendations. Now that it is snowy, we tried to use the 4 wheel drive and it doesn't work. Took the truck in this week to find out that when the tore the truck apart to find the problem that the truck doesn't have the original motor and that to fix the 4 wheel drive will be another $2000.00. We did contact the dealer regarding all of the issues that we had and Ray was very helpful in resolving the issue. He took our complaints very seriously and the issue was resolved to our satisfaction. Overall, their dedication to our satisfaction did change our opinion of...
Read morePolite, upbeat, professional; the vehicle I purchased was a 2007 minivan. All indications and paperwork showed it was in good shape and had been looked over by their mechanics... I was either intentionally misled or they had a VERY inexperienced person look it over. 10 minutes away I had to turn back because the AC wasn't working. They 'checked it out' and said it was just low on refrigerant. They took out the old and refilled it to its proper amount and it worked great. The van sat in our garage for just over a month before we drove it again... Total list of problems is as follows per our mechanic (our parents and us have had him for 20 years): Battery was dead - found a power drain from a component in the radio (was told it would have happened in just a few days so they probably knew about it) • LEFT INNER TIE ROD LOOSE • RR SHOCK LEAKING • LWR INTAKE SEEPING • Remove & Replace Intake Manifold Gasket - this is the real cause of the AC not working... Again I was told if they had 'evacuated the AC system they would have found oil in it because of the gasket issue. Of they didn't tell me then they just didn't want me to know. • R&R BATTERY lastly: two tires have been slowly losing air and will need to be replaced (3 different types of tires were on the van) You might say I just wasn't 'careful enough' when I looked it over. That happens when you TRUST someone else... I got burned, it might not happen all the time, but it...
Read moreI was here to buy a NEW car and I must say I had a fantastic experience at this dealership. I worked with Don Witt specifically as the sales person. He seems to be an experienced and truthful seller. There were no tricks or heavy sales pushes. He was completely transparent with price factors and because of that it was such a quick and easy process to come to a final sale price that I was happy with. I've purchased many cars and dealt with many long long long price discussions with inexperienced salesmen so this was a much more pleasant experience. I also believe Don did his best at finding every manufacturer incentive he could for me and truly seemed to care about the sale and making sure to keep the car within my budget. He didn't just want to sell a car, he wanted to make sure I would be buying a car I could afford in the long run. He took his time with me, and despite it being a busy day he never made me feel like I was wasting his time. How rare is that for a sales person to think that way about their customers?
Ultimately, I was very unsure of dealing with such a small dealership and had little confidence they could compete with large dealers as far as getting me a good deal. I was wrong. They mean business and cut out the hassle. I highly recommend them.
I feel sorry for those who didn't have a good experience from this dealer but sometimes those are the risks you take when...
