Wish I could rate them at 0 stars... we rented a bouncy house from them which was probably one of the worst taken care of ones we have rented. It had duct tape on it, no stairs for the kids to get into it, and the front opening had cheap netting with buckles that didn't even secure it very well.
On top of the rental fee, we had to pay an additional deposit of $80 (which we were told was non refundable, but in the end it was supposed to be refunded to us? Make up your mind!) to even reserve it.
We were told they would charge us $50 if it was wet, so we made sure to dry it off from the morning dew even though it was hot out.
We were also told that if we could return it by 9AM the following Monday (the 9th) they would have a chance to inflate it and look for damage and process the refund that day, and it would take about a week for that refund to clear. It was dropped off by 9AM that Monday.
Fast forward to today, no refund yet. I was told over the phone they didn't inflate and inspect the item until the 14th. The item sat for almost a week before anyone looked at it after I dropped it off. The employees don't strike me as the most competent individuals so having an item that I have a damage deposit on sitting for a week in their care makes me nervous. If they had come back and said there were damage charges, this review would have accompanied a letter from an attorney. The refund was processed on the 14th as well so I have "two weeks" to wait for it to show up in my bank.
Never again. They may be cheap, but there...
Read moreWe were told by two different people, on reservation and then three days later on pickup, that there would be no problem if we wanted to extend the rental contract on a bucket lift longer than the original three days. But, when we called to let them know we needed to keep the lift for an extra day, suddenly there was a problem. And Casey, one of the clerks, got very sarcastic and smart-alecky on the phone. Some manager called and left a message but when I called back I talked to Wade, the owner. He never once apologized for the employee's conduct nor offer to do anything to make it right. When we returned the lift at the end of the original contract one of the clerks was quite rude and told me "I should act like an adult and just leave." Apparently this is an okay way to treat customers because this young clerk was standing right beside the owner when he said it. But, what do you expect when Wade, the owner, tells me, "You're the kind of customer it's okay to fire." Apparently, if you don't like being talked down too, getting charged early, or treated horribly, you're not their kind of customer. About getting charged early; we paid half of the rental fee at pick-up and were told to "just pay the rest when you bring it back," but we were charged for the rest of the contract before the end of the contract and bringing the equipment back but immediately after the return call...
Read moreBoth a premium Stihl sales and repair store, as well as a very large and extensive rental shop. I will review the two parts separately. Both areas provide prompt, friendly service.
The Stihl sales and service is very knowledgeable, with extensive inventory. Of note, they do carry other less extensive brands of bar oil. Besides the new Stihl equipment, they do sell some used Stihl items.
The rental portion is quite extensive, either everything from party supplies to skid loaders, mini excavators, bucket lifts, stump grinders, etc. Every piece of equipment I have rented has been well serviced, in good working order. When a one rental did not meet expectations, I received a credit and I noticed uograddd machines in future. It appears the inventory is continually upgraded either new machines often showcased along Highway...
