Bigs Bar — Restaurant in Sioux Falls Township

This is the worst run bar, just so trashy. You can't get a mixed drink without it being a double, just isn't an option according to the owner. Which makes for a s*show when they have all ages music events because of course there's underage drinkers that can not handle something like mandatory doubles. Definitely not afraid to over serve customers here, seen some terribly inebriated people sit there & continue to be served. They don't have the ability to print a receipt so you can figure out why your bill is so high. The owner was very rude when we tried to get an explanation about not being able to see a receipt, seems like such a basic thing a business should be able to do. Ordered a pizza on one occasion as we weren't allowed re-entry if we had left to get something elsewhere, I've had cardboard that tasted better then what we were given for almost 20 bucks! They do get some alright music shows at this venue but usually that's ruined by the terrible sound...

I just recently moved to Sioux falls to set some context. Last night was league night for a new friend Steve I met through a coworker who is also on his team (Tim). completely unaware they were apparently having a live show, I showed up to watch some billiards. however the staff instead of simply saying "hey we got live music tonight so there is a cover charge to come in". instead choose to act like I'm trying to sneak in and and bartender evening going so far to accuse me of lying in a passive aggressive way. needless to say if you ever come to town avoid this place, very rude staff that cannot communicate simple things to guests and would rather project their own negativity onto others. Very unwelcome atmosphere because of staffs attitude. I would have gladly paid cover charge to help support local businesses and bands, all they had to do was communicate instead of assume the worst...

I was SO EXCITED about the Dwarfs vs. Minis wrestling event that was being held at Bigs Bar and I purchased 3 $40 ringside tickets that said guaranteed seats from first-third row (general admission tickets were $25), however when we got there, there were no more seats available, and when I went to go tell someone there are no more seats available and we paid for seats, he just said “sorry, there are no more”. We had to stand the entire time after paying the extra money to guarantee we had seats which was very frustrating. We tried our best to enjoy the show still but honestly felt like we were robbed of our money. And they offered no partial refunds. Probably wouldn’t go to another show here because of...
