Serious old school gym with a mix of classic and newer pieces of equipment - Iāve been working out for over 40 years and the equipment mix I find here is good, as in āusefulā, not just new. Lots of options if someone is on a machine you want, and typically most people get through their work-out on a machine quickly. Donāt know what the complaint is regarding a lot of equipment being down; Iāve never seen more than 2-3 machines down at once and Iāve been working out here for over a year. And Iāve showed up anywhere between 6:30 AM and 10:30 AM and have never found it overly crowded. Iāve always been able to get the equipment I need , as there are several options for doing a particular exercise. Gym etiquette among most members is very good and far better than any of the other places in Weatherford. There are a few people who seem to need their mothers to pick up after them, but itās nothing I havenāt seen at other places. Lots of police, firefighters, EMS and military personnel; most of these guys are serious about their workouts (Iām one of them) and appreciate this kind of place. Covid was hard for everybody but in the last several months, improvements in equipment and cleaning have really made this place shine in my book. Staff have always been helpful when I need them (which is rare). If youāre a newbie, seek them out to help you get started. Youāll find your way around the place far more quickly and hopefully come to appreciate it as a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCould be a great gym. Has not made it there and doesnāt seem like it will. Bathrooms never have paper towels or soap. The young peopleās entitlement culture definitely shows because they never rack the weights properly. Employees never fix the incorrectly racked weights. In the end you get exercise from digging through the weights to get what you need. The biggest issue is the fact that we were told they would have classes. This is what my wife wanted. We were told they wouldnāt start until the smoothie bar was going. We have been told this each month and it keeps getting pushed back. I havenāt seen any work on the smoothie bar in two or three months. Again, could be a great gym, itās a great location and I like the 24 hour option. Hopefully they get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter looking at several gyms in the area, my husband and I chose to join Weatherford Fitness and are so glad we did! We love this gym! Lots of equipment, free weights, and other accessories, and plenty to go around for everyone. Several free classes (with membership) are available weekdays with a few on Saturdays. Small Group and individual training available for an added, yet super affordable, fee. I personally take the Group training with Jaycee and I couldn't be happier. She really challenges you with her routines and mixes it up nicely so your body is always doing something different. Thanks to her, I've already seen results in just 8 short weeks. Other bonuses: the gym has a sauna, a smoothie bar, and is available to use 24x7....
