Funky Munky Shaved Ice — Restaurant in Weatherford

I FINALLY tried FUNKY MONKEY SHAVED ICE today. & let me just say, I was NOT disappointed!!! I happen to LOVELOVELOVE snow cones! But my experience today was beyond ANY snow cone I have eaten before....& thats 56 years of snow cones! I had the ROO, which was so decadent & rich, I was amazed! The ROO is both blue coconut & wedding cake with FUNKY MONKEY'S AMAZING homemade cream on top & a surprise of a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it! There was plenty of FM's cream on top & a very generous scoop of ice cream! & the price was far below what I would be willing to pay for the next ROO...which will be VERY VERY soon! The staff only added to my experience in the most positive way! They all were absolutely so sweet & kind! Which was refreshing considering how BUSY they are at ALL times with the drive thru & in store purchases! & let's just say their decor is adorable! & their merchandise from t-shirts to stickers are not only extremely cute,but certainly people don't mind advertising for FUNKY MONKEY! It was honestly one of my best 1st experiences at any place that is a foody's DREAM! FUNKY MONKEY'S SHAVED ICE specialty flavors give actual desserts like strawberry cheesecake & banana pudding a run for their money & I have little doubt that FUNKEY MONKEY'S phenomenal flavors & excellent prices would beat out traditional desserts!!! I HIGHLY recommend FUNKY MONKEY SHAVED ICE to EVERYBODY! Definitely an excellent value, fantastic flavors, & amazing staff! It is a win win in every way possible!!! (& fyi: FUNKY MONKEY, I have a few GREAT ideas for new specialty flavors!!! You should have a flavor contest & let the winner get FREE SHAVED ICE for life & they get to eat the first shaved ice winning...

Update #2 - when sharing my bank statement, showing our transaction at the W'ford store, with the owner via text message, she called me an ugly liar and said she cannot issue any refunds but would Vinmo me some money. I'm absolutely speechless. Am I really being accused of forging a bank stmt by this person? For 12 bucks? Why offer to Vinmo money to someone you think is lying and forging a bank transaction? Bless your heart, just keep the refund. You definitely need it more than I do.

Wow!! They should change the name to Hateful Heifers. Made our order wrong, told us they were out of candy, but still charged us for the candy. My 4 year old is crying and won't eat the snow cone we just got AND asked me "Mommy, why is that lady so mean?" Second time there, and the last time there. You have just a little too much attitude for my family to ever spend our funday money there again. I'd rather support local people anyway. Lol, ya'll are definitely not our monkey. Update: I have now left your rude employees 2 messages with my phone number, the date and time we were there and the amount charged on my bank card. You guys 100% told my child you were out of candy and slammed the window shut in our faces! We paid for 2 candies to be added to his snow cone, a total of $11.91, on July 8th at a little after 6 pm. I have printed out my statement for you, should you feel you need to keep acting like nothing happened and we were not there. You make me greatly dislike snow cones completely. Your behavior on reviews of your business reflects how you and your staff acts in person. Rude...

Today, my family and I had the pleasure of visiting the establishment for the first time. The establishment's appearance was impressive, and the prices were quite reasonable. The snow cones were exceptionally delicious, and we eagerly anticipate our next visit. The establishment offers a diverse range of options, which is commendable. I intend to contribute some of my old license plates to their collection, as they have expressed a continuous interest in acquiring them.
