Bomgaars — Local services in Weatherford

Made my first visit since Orscheln became Bomgaars. Only one cashier open who was so slow and it appeared to be her first day to ever work on a register. Young man who came to assist me with new FULL propane cylinder did not have key, looked at my receipt and promptly loaded an EMPTY cylinder into my car, even after I questioned him. When I arrived home, I immediately realized the cylinder was empty. Called and spoke to Scott, store manager who assured me it would be corrected. Chris DID exchange the EMPTY cylinder for a FULL one and I was given a gift card for my trouble. I appreciate Scott and Chris for their courtesy. I will be back to shop there. I will NEVER shop at this store again. Absolutely zero customer service. Management is terrible and extremely rude! I regret spending my money here only to finally figure this out. I regret trying to go the easy route. I leaned a lesson… stay local and shop from small businesses; at least they actually care about you as a person and customer. This place could care less about anything, even managers are liars and will tell you anything to get a sale. Then they will run you around with excuses…Couldn’t even handle building one chicken coupe in 4 days. And these coupes are small and cheap. That’s sad! I thought they would be expensive but they're really quite competitive with their prices. Their feed is exceptional quality. This is just a fun store to shop in. Update, 4 years later. Well they are pretty pricey nowadays. Like most businesses they have jacked up the prices. However, it could be worse. I bought baby chicks from a professional, knowledgeable young man . Then out of nowhere some hateful woman started screaming at him from 30-40 feet away, making assumptions about what info he was giving me, & she was wrong. She should've taken him to one side & not tried to humiliate him. & she was wrong, like I said. The more I thought about her behavior the madder I got. She needs to be fired for that .
