I came in with a basic gist of the framing I desired, and was very impressed with the ability of the staff to take that idea and improve upon it. I can say without a doubt that the frame turned out even better than I had envisioned personally.

They had a variety of framing and matte options, along with a good system for previewing and comparing the possible combinations. It was short work to narrow down the selections to the most pleasing design.

I have little frame of reference for prices, but the staff was upfront about the cost of certain options, and there was no push towards the more expensive options. The estimated time of completion was accurate, at one week. I specified that I had no rush to finish the frame, so the time was fine by me.

The build quality was sturdy, without noticeable imperfections. The slight bends in the picture were also successfully removed....

So I took in something to be framed. And Jan rocked it. And so I took in something else. And then more things. Jan and Bruce have literally framed pretty much everything in my house. Then I started with all of the items in my husband's office. He was happy, which says a lot because decor of any kind is not really his thing. The big box framers simply do not compare. They can't. And the strange thing? There's not a price difference that I can tell between the best Michael's coupon ever and the prices that Bruce can give me. Shopping local makes me happy! Bruce and Karen were AMAZING to work with! I had a very large (68x52) canvas art piece that needed to be framed in a floater frame. Well after a few days I received the most caring call from Bruce saying that there might be an issue with the canvas (I purchased from elsewhere) and what he would recommend. He gave me all the necessary information to take back to the vendor to see what they could do on their end. Long story short... Bruce ended up going above and beyond fixing a problem that wasn't his at all and then spent so much time on the piece heating and stretching it so that it was perfect for framing!...
