The male manager James is absolutely horrible with customer service. I ordered a pastry and a coffee from the lady at the register and she did not get my items at all. I mean, she took my money and rang me out but did not get the items that I had ordered. I stood to the side of the register waiting for the items that I paid for and she never looked up at me. I finally said, "where is my large coffee cup and pastry." The girl passes me a medium coffee cup. I said, "ummm, no I paid for a large coffee. She never changed the cup size. Then all of a sudden, the manager, James, walks up and slams a cup down on the counter in front of me. After I am still standing there for another 5 minutes. The manager, James, asked me why I was still standing here, I told him that I did not get the pastry that I paid for. He preceded to get the pastry and was not polite at all.
I have always gone to this Panera bread and I have never been treated with such disrespect. I am in disbelief that Panera would hire someone like this and then promote them to a manager position. While this is a great company and location, the manager James really makes me question the professionalism and judgment of those that do the hiring. James's attitude was totally inappropriate and the girl that took my order has very poor skills too. I will not...
Read moreI'm confused over my experience in this location. I walk in and there are some highschool kids hanging out at the tables eating and talking...no big deal. I stand in line and wait 5+ minutes to get served. While I'm waiting, the manager in charge starts yelling across the whole store at this kids to be quiet or get out. She talks with no respect to them, and while I get that some were probably just hanging out with no purchase, that is not the way to talk to anyone let alone some kids. They weren't loud and tbh, it seemed like she directed more of her attention to the black kids while she was hollering as she continued to treat the white kids with respect after hollering at the group. It was very inappropriate. As an adult if I stopped by to chat with a friend while they are eating and I didn't buy anything, I would be livid if I was told to buy food or get out. Just because they're kids they should still be treated with respect and just because they didn't buy anything today doesn't mean they won't tomorrow. And why would they now since they just got told off for spending time with friends after school. It makes me question if I should give my money up here in the future when staff is more focused on telling off high schoolers than serving...
Read moreVisit was 6:30 PM 6/21/2023 Place was dirty, especially the floor. Tables weren't cleaned off so couldn't find a place to sit. At most 10-12 people in the whole place, Ignored twice when I asked for condiments. Each time 3 young women were standing in a circle talking to one another. Laughing and having fun. Were not pleased that I interupted. Pizza was barely warm. Rather cold in some spots. Razor thin pieces of peperoni. About 1.25 pcs per slice....ridiculous. Sauce actually had a good taste. But it was so thin, it was as though it was sprayed on. Ran out of unswettened ice tea. Never replenished. Overcharged on an item. Only 20 cents. But I only got an "sorry about that." Kind of dismissive. It would be east to say, "I can get the mgr ot refund it to you?" Or something like that. I would have said no anyway. But being concerned wouldn't cost anything. I'll bet you are still overcharging. Prices are very high. This is taking into consideration the increase in food prices in general.
Just very dissapointed in the whole experience. Perhaps you are doing well financially. But it will not be...
