Very disappointed. Went on a Sunday afternoon around 4:30. MY husband and I were the only people in the restaurant at that time. Our service was very poor. Waitress finally came and asked us for our drink order. My husband ordered an orange freeze, a drink they were known for. I simply asked for water. Another 10 minutes or so my water arrived and she took our order. Husband ordered their footlong and I ordered a cheeseburger. We both ordered the onion rings. About 15-20 minutes later our order was served. Still no orange freeze. My husband waited for his drink and finally caught the attention of another waitress, who went and got ours. My husband questioned her about his drink and she said they don't serve orange freezes. Seriously? That was what they were known for. Footlong and onion rings were nothing to rave about, but my thin little overcooked burger was hidden in an oversized bun and it tasted like cardboard in a stale bun. Mind you, we were the only people dining inside. Poor service, poor food and way overpriced. Over $35 for burger, dog and 2 orders of onion rings - no drinks. Not to mention we were there well over 1 hour. Wonder how long they'll stay open? We won't be...

We were excited to try out this diner that has just recently opened in Webster Groves. Okay, it hasn’t opened that recently, but it’s a new restaurant to us because we moved away to Arizona in 2019. We stopped in for lunch on a weekday and the place was nearly empty.

This place is cute inside. Very casual, with hints of forest green and burnt orange. Various seating options such as a bar, tables and booths. The first negative we experienced was the service. Our server said it was his first day, and I do understand. However, it took us 30 minutes to order food. Multiple other servers were sitting in a booth behind us chatting loudly, and didn’t once offer to help us.

The food, once it finally came out, was good but not great. The Cookies and Cream Shake was really creamy and had a great flavor, but the portion was pretty small. Same with the entrees, my Cheeseburger was pretty yummy and my Mom enjoyed her BLT, but the portions were tiny.

I personally wouldn’t come back in recent days, mostly due to the poor service. The food and atmosphere were nice, but the service...

Tonight was our first time at The Parkmoor. Great little building in the heart of Webster Grove! We walked in at about 5:45 and were almost immediately greeted and seated in a comfy booth. We ordered the Buffalo Queso Toasted Ravioli for a starter. My husband ordered the fried bologna sandwich, he was amazed at the size. It's served between two grilled cheese sandwiches! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and was surprised, not greasy at all, cooked perfectly. What we were disappointed in were the Buffalo Queso Toasted ravioli, sadly there was no stuffing in them. We called our server back to our table and immediately showed him. We broke open every one of them, they were all empty. He apologized and explained while they make the stuffing, they're stuffed elsewhere. He brought us another plate of them and did not charge for either plate. Sadness set in as those were empty as well, just the toasted shell. We will go back and try other things because he tried to make it right which...

A friend and I decided to meet at the Parkmoor for lunch on a weekday. It was fairly busy but we were seated quickly. The staff was especially friendly from the hostess to the server. The menu is pretty basic but plenty of comfort food options. We decided to try the fried bologna sandwich just for kicks, along with a black and blue burger and onion rings, all of which we shared. The burger was fine, no complaints. The onion rings were quite greasy and didn’t seem to have onions in them sometimes. I wonder if they are some prepared product. Although it is supposed to be popular as per the server, the fried bologna sandwich was very greasy and just did not sit well in my stomach, and I have a pretty strong stomach. Would I go there again? Possibly. But I would try some of the other items on the menu, and only because I live in Webster Groves and want to support local businesses.

Nice little retro themed diner in historic Webster. I went to high-school near the old Parkmoor, and had eaten there several times. This new rebirth is actually quite a bit better than the original. Menu is still pretty standard diner fare, with some modern additions especially in their appetizers. Like pretzel bites were never an option back in the day. They have good smash burgers. The serve coke, and have a selection of ice cream treats, plus a fairly hood selection of alcohol from beer to cocktails. They also have a counter serving up shaved ice with a pretty extensive range of flavors. Well worth a visit.
