I could not be more disappointed in this skilled rehab rehabilitation center. My loved one was under their care from a Friday afternoon to a Tuesday evening. As a diabetic, his sugars were out of control. Last night he needed to use the restroom. Two staff members were assisting him and getting there. There were items on top of the toilet and one staff member let go of him to move the items And he fell, requiring readmission to the hospital. The Emergency Room physician said he was severely dehydrated. I don’t understand how this happens under their care. I happen to know their physician put eyes on him on the same day he readmitted. How she could not tell he was dehydrated I will never understand. I can tell you the nurse manager did not want to talk to me this morning, she wanted the report from the staff. But here it is. If I were you and my loved one were going into skilled rehab, I would not go near this rehab if they are in any way medically complicated. And please know I asked two people in charge if they were in a position to handle his medical complexities, and I was...

Read moreI had the unfortunate experience of getting rehab here after my total hip replacement. The PT and OT was terrific but the abysmal food service and non responsive staff were unacceptable. Staff would wake me up to ask what I wanted for breakfast and claimed that they had no access to menus until the morning it was served. They couldn’t even provide a banana for lunch. They woke me to ask if I wanted to use the bathroom. They neglected to send me home with blood thinners because “most people just take aspirin.” They screwed up sending the order for pain killers and I had to make panicked calls on the weekend to get them.
I can’t speak to their long term care but if I ever need short term rehab again will...
