New owners are fantastic! Great food and service. Come in and meet Nui and John. You'll be really happy you visited this gem. They've been part of this community for years across Natick and Wellesley, and if we want our neighborhoods to stand out, then please come support them! I've been here a few times and there are many dishes to highlight:
(1) RICE BOWLS - These are HUGE and so flavorful! It's a really good mix of healthy protein, veggies, and rice. If you're feeling hungry, this is a great balanced option.
(2) SOUPS - If you're looking for authentic flavors, the soup here is a go-to. It's surprisingly hard to find a good soup these days, but they figured it out! You can customize the spiciness level, so if you have someone who loves spice in your household and someone who doesn't, then there really is an option for everyone. Level 0 is for everyone, Level 2 is for spicy lovers, and Level 4 is for the daring and seasoned heat seekers (so try and work up to it across orders, rather than order without trying a lower number first). The Tom Yum and Coconut soups are some of our favorites, and if you're feeling a little under the weather then a Noodle Soup will make you feel right as rain.
(3) CHICKEN SATAY - These are also really big and so well seasoned. I haven't come across any in the surrounding towns that are as large as the ones here, except perhaps one place in Boston, but these are definitely the best. You'll love the peanut sauce too.
(4) GYOZA - These are some of the best ones you can find anywhere. They are clearly hand made and balanced well, so they're light and also quite filling at the same time. The chicken ones are our favorite!
(5) BOBA - Did you know they have boba milk tea? They're so refreshing, and would be a great way to brighten your day if you need a pick-me-up on a drive through town.
Honestly, there are a lot more I could list, but I wanted to share a few to start. I saw that there was a rating from someone who complained about the portion size and prices and I'm not sure what they're talking about. The sizes are great, the prices are fair, and you'll be lucky enough to get a tasty meal from one of the best chefs that I've come across in all my years of trying various restaurants.
Last but not least, you can also see the care that they've put into the restaurant. The inside has been revamped and renovated, with a polished vibe that the community deserves. It's beautiful and cozy. It's just a few tables, so it'll feel intimate, but also authentic for a small shop with really passionate owners who just want to share their love of good food with us all. Trust me, try it and keep coming back to try more. You'll be...
Read moreUpdated post in the spring 2023. The restaurant seems to be under a new ownership. Here are the summary (compared to the previous in 2019). take-out only.
Price went up by ~20% (not surprising) Portion went down significantly by ~20% (disappointing) Quality improved, but it is very inconsistent. The chef appears to be Thai, but taste is not right sometimes. Service is mediocre/bad and did not change.
I can deal with #1, but the inconsistency in taste and such a drastic reduction in the portion made me hesitant to go there again (I stopped expecting good service there. I don't think the front person knows how to greet people... perhaps, for the people who take out food)
Updated post in the summer 2019. The tastes of food itself improved in 2016 and 2017, which is comparable to good Thai restaurants. The services improved significantly over the past one year, and they deserve four stars in this category of restaurants (the maximum I...
Read moreMarch 2023 New Ownership! A welcome surprise to see Nui and John as the new owners. They have been working in Natick for decades previously, so finding them here was an awesome surprise.
Great tasting food and customer service is amazing. We tried a bunch of apps and food. Fried gyozas were super crispy as well as the wings! Nice noodle soups and I love the rice curry. We also had the pineapple fried rice. We will have to be back to try more of the menu. Milk tea and Boba available as well as my always favorite Thai ice tea! They have been super busy since reopening and the best way to order is online for pickup.. apparently it has been full house and many loyal customers from Natick found out they are here. Excuse some of the pictures, the green glow from the sign is hovering over the dishes as the family was ready to devour the food, I didn't get a chance to take pictures of the...
