I very rarely give one star reviews- as a business owner, I love giving kudos to places doing a great job! However, this place really earns this rating. The prices at this particular (dirty and unorganized) Goodwill are outrageous! They sell many items at or ABOVE retail, which seems in poor taste, considering everything is donated.
My son found a coat he liked for 25.99, but when we got to the counter, noticed a big paint splotch on the outer sleeve, and the Velcro on the wrists was so worn it wouldn't close. When we pointed it out, the clerk just shrugged. Other thrift stores (including other Goodwills) typically discount items with stains or holes, but not this one!
Some staff there are really nice, but yesterday's clerk was incredibly rude- my 20 had a tiny corner torn off and she wouldn't accept it saying the bank wouldn't take it. When I assured her they would accept bills as long as more than half if it was there, she snapped, "Do YOU work at a bank?😳
As other reviews mention, the lack of dressing rooms is really unfortunate, especially considering their prices on clothes and only giving store credit for returns.
My recommendation would be to skip this Goodwill and head over the bridge just a few minutes to the East Wenatchee Goodwill, which is clean with a friendly staff, well-organized, and their prices are far more reasonable for used,...
Read moreCashier with black hair yelled at me trying to look at the racks by them. I am not from here, how am I suppose to know I can’t look there. There is a right way and there is a wrong way to talk to someone and the way she talked to me was out of line and disrespectful. I told her I didn’t know and that I am not from here and how am I able to look at them then and she grabbed a sign all aggressively to try and put it in my face. I didn’t see no sign. Keep in mind the racks near cashiers is in a section away from them not right next to them. THEN I ask to see the lululemon and she grabs the clothes all mad and throws them infront of me to look at hitting me and didn’t even care. Rude and will never come to shop here again. I been too so many goodwills at different cities and states and man this one took the cake for the worst one. I couldn’t shop comfortably as she was looking at me nasty browsing the whole...
Read moreFriendly and helpful staff. My daughter and I enjoy thrift store searches for "treasure." This Goodwill has a variety of items, and the staff does a great job of keeping the areas organized, and nicely displayed. Not an easy task! It is always a fun time, and we were successful in our treasure hunt. My daughter was completely amazed by an old hand crank mixer. I explained i used one when I was young, while helping my mom in the kitchen. She can't wait to get home to use it! Of course we didn't leave with just one item. I am happy to say we didn't buy anything that would soon be lost in the back of the cabinets, and I was able to walk away from a rocking horse that was looking for a new family....(we already have one at home). We are already looking forward to...
