This is a good hotel, and I enjoyed all the times I stayed there. Employees are friendly and helpful. Shout-out to the worker Angel, she is absolutely wonderful and does a good job. She helped me when I was lost and reminded me that I was checking out the morning that I was, or else I would've accidentally stayed longer than I was supposed to. The pool was closed for the season, but it was hot outside while I stayed there from May 1-4 of 2025. I think it should be open if the weather is nice. If you think about staying there, you should probably be aware of the $250 deposit, and that you must be 21 to book a stay here. I had to call Expedia to switch it from my name to a 21 year old's name, and feel like it should be able to be done through the hotel clerk themself. My biggest complaint is about the worker David. About 3 years ago, I was ditched by somebody who misled me, who claimed we were going to meet up at that hotel. I was standing outside and tried to explain my situation to David about how someone lied to me, and he was super rude to me while trying to kick me off the property, making me stubborn to leave. If he had asked nicely, I would of exited the property. He even threatened to call Rivercom and said that someone accused me of doing heroin there. I have never done heroin before. David handled the situation poorly and it was very unprofessional. That was a horrible way to treat someone who was already having a hard time. We work besides each other. He came up to me creepily at my job one time, saying "look at you now" as if I turned my life around. It was completely uncalled for to make that comment about his opinion that I did...
Read moreFirst let me start off by saying I booked this hotel room on the reviews of the cleanliness and the service that was in the reviews. Initially when we first got to the hotel we did notice how clean it is the smell in the hotel and in our room you could tell that it was clean, so I will give the hotel that. I will also add that we booked this hotel for our honeymoon so we had a multiple night stay. Upon checking out though we asked if we could have a late checkout by 30 minutes to an hour would have suffice. We were told no right off the bat. There are multiple reviews that state Barb gave other guests even an extra 2 hours to check out but we couldn't even get 30 minutes on our honeymoon. I will also state that the area is not that great upon arriving our first night there was a lot of criminal activity going unchecked We noticed car prowlers in the parking lot and had to let the night auditor know as he was not paying attention to nothing not even My husband to let him know that there was car prowlers in the lot. My husband could see him from a mirror in the back ignoring him and my husband had to start naming off the color of his clothing before he realized that he was being watched and we knew that he was back there. As far as the food is concerned for the breakfast the first night that we stayed We woke up to a very limited breakfast. Our third day there was a full continental breakfast. I've posted a picture of just one guest saying they were given a late checkout and that's just one there...
Read moreWheelchair users, do not book here! Made a reservation for a wheelchair accessible room months ago. Called the hotel and confirmed the room was wheelchair accessible. Arrived late in the evening after a long day of traveling, checked in, and went to the room. NOT wheelchair accessible.
The bathroom has a door that swings into a small, narrow bathroom. Once you roll into the bathroom, there's no way to close the door as your chair is in the way. The door also blocks access to the tub. To be able to wheel into the bathroom, close the door, and access the tub, the door needs to be reversed to swing out into the entry.
Went back to the front desk, was told that was their ADA room, that other people in wheelchairs have used that room, etc.
If you are someone who has no ability to stand and move your chair out of the bathroom, you are not able to close the door, transfer to the toilet, and transfer to a shower bench. You would have no privacy if sharing a room while using the toilet and would not be able to shower.
Cancelled our reservation, had to rebook at two other hotels for different evenings during our trip and pay double. The Best Western Plus Wenatchee Downtown Hotel does have an actual wheelchair accessible room, but was only available for that night only. Calling ten other places, due to a concert at the Gorge, every other hotel in the area was sold out. Would recommend staying...
