La Tortuga Loca — Restaurant in Wenatchee

This is my second 5 star review . I’ve ordered their food a hundred times , no joke and I’ve only tried two things on their menu but they’re so good I can’t even try something new .. the second thing I only tried because the first I was obsessed with which is the Cubana torta they accidentally gave me another persons order or misheard mine which was their chicken enchiladas.. so I now get those and have literally a hundred times and it’s lanyard made to perfection with no lettuce .. last night it got busy and I knew it was hard to hear me so as much as she tried and I tried , I got the order with lettuce .. I called them and they were so apologetic.. they said no need to bring my order back and instead said give it to someone so I drove it to my mom who loves them and went to pick up the new ones they made .. they also had there waiting for me a another box with “sorry” on it and in it a big shell of fried ice cream and all the goods , my box of newly made enchiladas and a pomegranate drink .. they did all that extra stuff just for a small, one time mess up of lettuce . Now I’m hooked on the fried ice cream .. so good . The owner , the employees always go above and beyond .. they are the kindest people ever, truly . I could not believe how above and beyond they went to make it up to me for such a small and rare misunderstanding.. their food is so good , so good! They always have fresh, never frozen ingredients .. the quality of their food exceeds the generous prices .. I can’t believe I can get 4 enchiladas for 13 dollars and some change. The service truly exceeds any other place ever in my life I’ve gone to. Everything is 10’s across the board out of 5 stars . Best place to eat. Truly! Best food, best quality ,...

Had an extremely disappointing experience, I ordered a tostada de camaron and coctel de camaron. Tostada was great but the coctel de camaron was basically shrimp and cilantro mixed with mostly ketchup. Being the reasonable person that I am and trying to support a local business I asked my server if they had some v8 juice to cut sweet and overwhelming taste of ketchup she told that they were out and didn’t have any and basically told me that she’s sorry that my taste is different than everybody else’s she put the blame on myself, so I asked her to give me another tostada de camaron in replacement of the coctel and told her that I was willing to pay the price for the coctel which is more expensive than the tostada. But when I went up to pay she charged me for both and only offered a 25% discount off the coctel when I only took maybe one bite out of it. Very poor...

First time customers. We were recommended to try this restaurant by a friend and it did not disappoint. Husband got a Caldo de 7 Mares and he loved it. It was flavorful and had lots of good seafood. I got tacos (pastor and taco azteca) and the pastor was a bit salty, but not too bad. I also got a Tostada de Ceviche de Camarón and it was piled up on a tostada that had a creamy substance on the bottom and it was delicious. My daughter for a Torta de Asada and she said it was one of the best she had tried. My sister in law got a Gordita and she enjoyed it. We would return and recommend this place. Also, the licuado de chocolate con plátano is bomb!...
