Al Pastor burger with onion rings
The beef patty was of great quality and pretty juicy. Cooked well in my opinion. The toppings were Mayo, grilled onion, tomato, lettuce and of course the grilled pineapple.
The al pastor itself was great! It didn’t overpower the burger, which I was afraid of. Everything was well balanced. Sweet and acidic from the pineapple but rich and fat from the pork and pork fat. All the components worked well together. The flavors never got old throughout the whole burger. It was a nice balance of familiar flavors with trying something new.
The onion rings maintained crispness after 10min of driving from the restaurant to my destination. Do I dare say….. best onion rings in town? I am trying to think of an onion rings that is more substantial, crispier, with better onion flavor and I can’t. I do wish they provided a fry sauce of some sort, but their onion rings and fries almost don’t need them because they are so well seasoned.
I look forward to coming back and...
Read moreI am originally from California but now live in Virginia and miss good traditional Mexican food. I’m visiting my son in Wenatchee, WA and kept seeing this small restaurant call Aztec Brothers Tacos & Hamburgers so I thought I’d stop in hopes of getting real Mexican food; not the American version of Mexican food. This place did not disappoint me in the least. It was exceptionally clean & I was greeted by the friendly staff immediately. I had the carne asada plate and it was so good!! Just like the food I would get when I would go to Mexico. I had the flan for dessert and it was outrageously delicious!! In fact, when the waiter found out that it was my birthday, he took the flan off my bill as a gift! How awesome was that?!?? So, if you’re looking for a clean, traditional Mexican restaurant, YOU SIMPLY MUST GO TO THE AZTEC BROTHERS RESTAURANT in...
Read moreCozy joint with tasty burgers. I got the Al Pastor, and while the beef patty itself was good, the al pastor on top was the best I've had (admittedly, I haven't had much). A toasted bun and crisp onion gave extra texture to the sandwich. Sliced tomato lent a little sweetness and juice, although the bulk of those aspects came from the pineapple. Onion rings were crispy and plentiful. The onions didn't just slide put of the batter either, which is a huge gamble when getting onion rings anywhere. They hold their own, even beside the behemoth of a burger. Service was friendly and helpful. The waitress provided informative direction on items she thought I should try on a first visit, and she was spot on.
Can't wait...
