We are extremely pleased with the Pooch Palace staff. We started bringing our cats to them for nail trims about a year ago, after we decided that we were done with the stress and hassle of trimming their nails ourselves. We've never had cats who just sit calmly and let us trim their nails - it's always been more like wrangling a calf at a rodeo! - so we were thrilled when we found that Pooch Palace trims cats' nails for a very reasonable price. After our vet stopped offering the service during COVID, we had tried a pet store but never returned after observing them cutting our cats' nails on a table in the same area where large dogs were running loose for their play time. Probably nothing would have happened, but it made us nervous. At Pooch Palace, they take the cats in their carriers to secure rooms in the back to trim their nails. They also show personal interest and care for our cats by making sure that they know their names when we bring them in. What really sold me on the staff here was when we brought our oldest cat Misty in earlier this year to be bathed. Her coat was looking pretty bad, and nothing that we or our vet had tried was helping, so deciding to have her bathed and groomed was our last option. She'd never had a bath before, and I didn't know how she would do as an older cat, so I was very nervous those several hours when she was at Pooch Palace. The groomer ended up really going the extra mile and shampooing her three times to get her coat clean. Not only was Misty's coat beautiful again, but she also did great with the experience. She acted like nothing out of the ordinary had happened, which assured us that the staff had treated her very well. S Then, several weeks ago, when Misty suddenly passed away, the Pooch Palace staff was so kind to us. When I emailed them to tell them what had happened and to close Misty's file, we received a very sweet email back, saying how sorry they were. Then they sent us a sympathy card, signed by all the staff. Gestures like that say a lot about the philosophy and quality of a place. At this point, we consider ourselves lifelong Pooch Palace customers. They've earned our trust, and we have no reservations about continuing to trust our cats...

Update: so disappointing! We won't be back. Dawn is never there, just a bunch of young inexperienced staff who have made too many mistakes-cutting my dog's nails so short they bled & now after 11 great years, my dog is scared to death of getting her nails cut! Thanks a lot! Absolutely inexcusable! Last time they handed me the wrong dog. Before that I left a very important message for the groomer & they didn't get it! Never again. This place used to be amazing.

The absolute BEST Groomer!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Years ago this was the only place we could take our beloved Chiquita for a nail trim, every other place wanted to muzzle my dog & manhandle her- but not Dawn! Her confidence put my mutt at ease. We moved out of town for a few years, & now I have a Teddybear that needs grooming. Of course we came to Dawn & BOY were we surprised (not really ;) This place has gotten BETTER!?? How is that possible! AMAZING people, AMAZING availability, AMAZING quality. Can't say enough :) Thanks guys!!...

My family has brought my 3 dogs (border collie mix & 2 small chihuahuas) to The Pooch Palace for years now and they do the best job. I never feel worried leaving my dogs there for hours, my dogs have always come home feeling happier and fresh. I love when they come home with cute little bandanas! There are so many horror stories of groomers abusing their animals and I feel 100% no fears of that happening at this establishment. The girls are so sweet and helpful. My border collie has a lot of hair and after he gets groomed he doesn’t shed heavily for like three weeks! He stays feeling clean for a good while, feels soft, and smells great. I could never do that good of a job when I used to groom him myself. They are actually able to cut my usually aggressive chihuahua and my other anxiety filled chihuahua. I don’t know how they do it! I’ve never been able to do it myself. The pooch Palace has been a blessing! ❤️ 10/10...
