Came in around 6:45-7pm with my dad, started off with extreme watered down lemonade and some mildly flavored raspberry tea. I ordered the classic breakfast and he ordered a hashbrown skillet with a side order of french fries. And yes I understand there was 2 people working, but there really was no excuse for this as everyone else received hot fresh food in a timely manner. First of all, it sounded like someone dropped a plate, and I watched as my plate was left on the counter by itself for quite some time before the skillet came out hot. The wait was so long since it seemed half our order was dropped. So my food was cold and toast soggy with way too much butter. Fries weren't brought out till after the two meals were served. My food was both cold and so overcooked, the Hashbrowns felt like I was chewing rocks and I barely touched them. Eggs I wont eat cold. I had a couple bites of toast and a few fries from my dads order but Im severely unhappy with how we weren't even checked on one time at all. Guy literally only came over to give us our bill even though Im clearly sitting there with a full plate, didn't even ask us how the food was. We came up to pay and that's when he asked us if everything was good. To which we said no and explained what I said above. His reponse "oh" finishes ringing us up and walks away. Seriously. Im only giving y'all a point for good music. Never coming back, George Webb used to be one of our favorites. I'm surprised you're still...
Read moreDid George Webb's in West Bend we had one of the best meals we've had there in at least five years my age were perfectly done over medium my hash browns with cheese my bacon I ordered medium the cook was outstanding the waitress was very outgoing and I told her that did it taken us 5 years come back here and we used to go to a few of the other ones but we stopped because it's hard to get good help nowadays but the thing of it is is when you get someone that's good you pay them to keep them working for you you don't overwork them you get enough people to work there to cover everything else that needs to be covered my family's been in the restaurant business all my life big small and medium-sized some work some dent in summer still going show the best thing I can suggest you is what I have you did a good worker you pay them well and you hire enough help to keep everybody comfortable and working like a good oil machine and we will go back there because my husband's Burger we ordered butter toasted buns perfect and I hope we don't ever have another bad experience there and I grew up working at George Webb's and going to college my family members work there and over the last 10 years it went way downhill but now it seems to be picking up...
Read moreThe server was friendly and this review is not a reflection of her service, her tip was. The food however was absolutely disgusting. I don't expect much walking into a place like this but up until this point every George Webb I have ever been to has been fairly consistent so I knew what I was getting myself into. I have ordered the steak and eggs on a few different occasions, from this location even, but this was something different. The steak looked as if it was falling apart and you could tell it was actually ground beef of some sort cooked like a steak. The hash browns were fine but the eggs were obviously cooked right next to and on the grease of the "steak". They were dripping with brown grease and smelt and tasted like beef fat. The toast was soggy and cold like it had been sitting a while. Most of the time I come into George Webb late at night when there is only one or two people doing everything and it is perfectly up to expectations. The late afternoon crew is bigger and cannot...
