The salesperson Ayana totally took advantage of a sale to me giving me a screen protector I said I didn't need it and a jet pack that I didn't need. I was under the assumption that this stuff was given to me as a deal because I was paying $749 for a phone. Not until I was in the Apple store and asked the assistant what a jet pack was, did I understand that a shady deal had taken place. Went home, looked at my bill and discovered that not only was I charged for these items, but the jet pack had a $10/month fee plus an activation fee. I called the store and the manager Randy said he would speak with the salesperson and get back with me. I also called corporate Verizon to oversee this complaint because I did not trust this store. The Verizon rep agreed that these items were not needed nor requested. The store manager didnt return my call so I called him back and he said the salesperson was just getting there and he would call me right after. Never happened. Now the next morning, day 3, I went back to store and Randy (manager) said the salesperson would be in later today and he would speak with her. He completely forgot he told me that the night before. I reminded him of this and then he said "Yeah, we just briefly spoke yesterday". Thats lie #1. Then again, said he would call me back. I called Verizon corporate again and Rhonda put me on hold to call store. Now, Randy told her that he was present the day of the sale and overheard the salesperson explain the jet pack to me. Lie # 2. The Verizon rep said she did not believe him and would be filing an internal complaint about him. She also gave me the phone number to his corporate office of Go wireless. Verizon is totally willing to pay any restocking fee that Go wireless will charge, its just getting that office to accept the items back. They ripped me off of around $50 at least and a staff member who was helping me upgrade my phone named Rodet (could have also been nicknamed Randy or Robbie) sold me a low quality phone even though I could have gotten a much better phone for free.
DO NOT SHOP HERE. They will pressure you into goods you do not need and slip in tons of add ons that you do not need or ask for. A simple phone upgrade took 2 hours and I had to cancel plans I had later in the day because it took so unnecessarily long. My mom tried to call them and complain about how I was taken advantage of and at first they were helpful about returning some of the things I was tricked into buying, but when she tried to ask about one of the mysterious charges I got, all of a sudden the person she was talking to (Anthony) was too busy to talk to her. I will NEVER return to this location again. Read moreI had to port in from another carrier to Verizon Because Verizon is the best. However this particular store disappointed me. It took Them and me about 2 to 3 days to restore My back up on the new device. On third day they told me that today is the last day because they have to send my trade-in device. I thought they’re supposed to facilitate you rather than pressurize you and I already was stressed out because of my data. All the promotions that they told me somehow changed when I actually ported in. And it’s a well-known fact that when you port in, There is a problem receiving texts. When I told them this that I’m not getting confirmation code from a lot of apps, they told me to call individual apps because they don’t see a problem at their end (I mean how can you even say such a senseless thing). They also told me that it might be a technical issue but they can’t assist me because my phone was not insured.
