My Big Fat Shawarma — Restaurant in West Bloomfield Township

I went in for a quick meal and walked out with a feast! Generous portions are definitely served up without hesitation. The staff was friendly, fast, and greeted me when I walked in the door! Fill your bowl with freshly made yellow rice, chicken, spicy garlic sauce, extra cucumbers, extra tomatoes, onions,spicy Fat sauce AND YOU WILL BE IN HEAVEN!! This is the place you’re looking for! You won’t be disappointed! And carry your bag with two hands cause the bowls are loaded!

Review update: So I loved my first experience so much that I just had to go back! Of course there were different staff members there and that really made all the difference. My chicken bowl was just not the same! The portions were light and I had to ask for enough sauce, just to cover the top of my bowl which was mostly rice and free toppings. The chicken was so scattered that when I did finally sit down to eat it, I had to search through the bowl to make sure I got a tiny chopped up piece. What a disappointment! For $16 if this had been my first experience, I would never have returned! Not sure if I’m going to gamble on a third time or not… downgrading my review to three...

When I walked in the store one staff member acknowledged me and was very friendly. I had to run to the restroom and when I came back out to grab my online order it was not in the pick up area however there was an open bag on the counter. This was my first time in this store so I wasn’t sure what I was suppose to do since my order wasn’t on the pick up shelf. The friendly staff member was no longer at the counter it was a staff member standing there that never acknowledged me or asked me if I needed help with anything he continued to speak with the customer at the register as if I didn’t exist. So after a few minutes I noticed a bag on opened on the counter that had my order in it and I grabbed it so as I turned to leave the staff member asked me if I found what I was looking for or if I need help and I told him no. As I left the store and was halfway to my car the friendly gentleman ran after me and said he had to check my order. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away by the friendly staff. As it was my first time, they let me sample a few options and were so patient in explaining what everything was, including the seasonings and ingredients. You can tell they truly care about their food and are passionate about the business, which made the experience even better. The food was amazing! The chicken was seasoned perfectly, and there were so many fresh veggies and toppings to choose from. The portions are huge, and the prices are super reasonable… you really get your money's worth. I didn’t feel like cooking today, so it was nice to have a meal that tastes great and feels healthy. They also offer deserts however I got the lemonade, which was absolutely delicious.
