I hate to leave a negative review, but I predominately rely on curbside pickup weekly for groceries and seem to have issues, whether it be with the accuracy of the order itself or with the actual pickup. Granted, the order before my latest one was a tardy arrival time on my end and I take full responsibility for my inconvenience towards the staff. As far as this most recent order goes; I had scheduled a 5-6p pickup yesterday and ended up not being able to make it. I had confidence that the store would hold the order until the next day. The next day rolls around and I received a receipt via email around 4am notifying me that I was charged and the order had been “delivered.” Of course, this wasn’t the case when I arrived to the store to pickup my no-longer-existent order. So, that leads me to assume that someone from the morning crew had scanned in the order as fulfilled and charged me knowing that I had yet to come pick it up. Then proceeded to put it all back on the shelf without any sort of grace period.
I understand and have empathy for staffing issues, as well as the staff having to deal with customers and their benign debacles. However, I just wanted to express my disappointment in the service I’ve received these past couple months with this particular...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible treatment by the GM for this store. His name is Lonnie and he is a middle aged African American man. When confronted about a signage issue for some reusable bags that were clearly marked $0.79 rang up as $0.99 and I said they're marked on sale.
He went over to the stand, with attitude, grabbed the sign that said $0.99 and brought it to me while the cashier was ringing up my items, how unprofessional. Then proceeded to grab the bag that was on sale and it was conveniently hidden behind the bags that I had grabbed. There were a total of maybe 5 bags, utterly irritated and baffled by how I was treated by this guy.
I have been a loyal Aldi shopper for years and for 2 years at this particular one and to be tested this way, I recommend anyone and everyone to go to another Aldi because this GM clearly doesn't care about the times and people's wallets being tight, but only worries about his return on the reusable bags sold. I will never be coming back to this Also ever again unless this GM is fired or moves on.
I feel bad for the employees and team leads at this location to deal with this GMs terrible...
Read moreNormally I would just let things go. Not this time. I was in line and since I couldn't fine something I asked the cashier where it was. Since no one was behind me I ran to get it. Once I returned and still no one in line still the cashier basically decided that even though no one was behind me that leaving to get items was not allowed and to never do it again when shopping here. I was quite shocked since no one was behind me. I said to not talk to me like a child and it's not like I'm holding up the line. He said his name and store # very fast darryl derek something and said if I didn't like it to call someone. And repeated that that's the rules if I want to shop their and that it doesn't matter if I don't like it. I also repeated that I'm not a child and didn't appreciate his tone. Again NO ONE was in line. Point is he's rude and I didn't appreciate his tone with me. Who hasn't forgot something. At least in my case...
