Well I got to my wife wanted Texas Roadhouse so me being a good husband said sure let's go we went on a Friday at 1:30 and was surprised that they were open so early my wife ordered the catfish dinner and I'm a short T-Rex so I ordered the T-bone and a salad just so I could say at least I ate something healthy. Our waitress seemed kinda dry and never brought out the extra blue cheese dressing that I asked for and never came to check on us to see how we liked our food the table didn't have pepper so I had to get up myself and get the pepper from another table since our waitress didn't care about checking on us. Just to think we would get better service because the place was empty in comparison to what Texas Roadhouse looks like late afternoon and evening times boy was we wrong. I ordered my T-bone medium rare. When the steak came out it looked good in color like it was buttered and seasoned right but it was the kind of cut that looked almost as part of the bottom of the steak was missing but I thought I'm not going to say nothing. So I cut in to it and I saw right then it was well done I tried to eat it anyway then I saw on the sides of the steak it was a completely different temperature it was rare on the left side and the right side. At that point I could only conclude that the chef had one line of fire going on the grill because they were not crowded instead of heating the whole grill up. So I guess save money on gas at the customer expense. Then I asked my wife how was her catfish she said it was a little over cooked I had to flag down the waitress because just like she didn't check on us after the salad she did the same thing with the rest of the meal so I told her about the steak temperature they brought out another T-bone and you could tell it was rushed. It did not have the right color because you can see that it wasn't seasoned properly and there wasn't enough butter on it and it was light in color I knew it wasn't the right temperature or cooked properly before I cut into to it. And what was even more insulting was it was the manager that served it to me and I'm a foodyaligist and a great cook and if I could see that the steak was rare so could she as the manager at that point I just gave up. I cut it confirmed that it was rare got to boxes went home added season and butter to my steak and finished cooking it the best way I could on a re-fire on a skillet at home. I would have been better off going to a butcher and cooking it myself on my grill. To all I suggest you go when they have a crowded restaurant because it's obviously break time at 1:30 or the real chef hasn't came in yet or they plan don't have one anymore. But as me and my wife we will never go back to that location again because I believe that they just don't care they are there for a paycheck and I hate that we...
Read moreThis is my second time going to Texas Roadhouse. The first time was in Lima, Oh and it was AWESOME, so I decided to try this one in West Chester and it didn't disappoint! The food is on point, the service - fantastic and the server, Maddie - was phenomenal! She was very pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. She made us feel welcome and was very attentive to our needs. Also, the prices are very reasonable and a great value for the buck! I highly recommend this place if you want great food and service! So much better than Longhorn and Outback Steakhouse!
This is my third time at Texas Roadhouse. Every time I go, it gets better and better! The service is excellent and the food is spectacular! This time, we decided to try a New appetizer - " Cheesy Fries with bacon, served with sour cream and ranch. The portion was huge! It was so good that we had a hard time not eating it all before our Entrees came! Highly recommend! Our server - Jessica was very accommodating and made sure that we felt welcome and was very attentive to our needs. ( I don't know how Texas Roadhouse trains their employees - but they hit the mark by training them well! Kudos!) She made sure that we were well taken care of, answering all of our questions - even giving drink suggestions! Our Entrees arrived piping hot by the wait staff within 10 minutes of placing our orders. I ordered the 10 oz Ribeye steak ( mid-rare), topped with onions and mushrooms along with seasoned Shrimp on a skewers and sweet buttered corn on the side. The steak was cooked perfectly and the Shrimp was seasoned well and very tender. As usual, the sweet rolls are AWESOME! And the whipped Cinnamon butter is outstanding! My partner had the 26 oz Porterhouse steak (mid-rare) with mushrooms and onions, also seasoned Shrimp - the House Salad and seasoned rice. Again, the steak was cooked perfectly, the rice was also very tasty. If you are looking for a great place to eat, friendly atmosphere, fantastic service and a great value for the buck - look no further than Texas Roadhouse! You will be glad you...
Read moreOn 12/30 we decided to eat in and this location is always busy. We got to the hostess and she told us 15 minutes before we were seated and she took our number and read it back to us and said that we would receive a text when they were ready to seat us. This was approximately at 15:00. 15:20 comes on by and I noticed that people that were coming in were being seated, which wasn’t weird to me since you can us the app to request seating. So my husband goes to the hostess and she tells him that she texted us and we told her we never received a text which at this point I heard them calling names out loud but never did anyone step outside to call names (and they do ask if you can wait outside when it is crowded inside) So at this point another hostess tells us that she will seat as as soon as she could and know it 15:44 and she has seated five more people which was super irritating to me since I felt that they messed up they should of fixed it right away. But I didn’t say anything. Finally we get seated at 16:00 and another hostess seats us and puts rolls on the table but we are know in the both seated for 18 minutes with no waitress. My husband is ready to go but we waited already for an hour and I didn’t feel like going no we’re else. We have NEVER had this issue at this location so we really were concerned about the lack of detail. Finally 19 minutes in I asked another hostess if she knew who our waitress would be and she said she didn’t know but would find out and suddenly we were given Silvia who was amazing and apologized for something that clearly wasn’t her fault but she made sure my husband and I were taken care of asap with drinks s’more rolls and food. Also, Tabi who is the manager came over and apologized and she took care of us and I appreciated her for even coming to our table and listening. That made me feel like they genuinely cared. But I wanted to make sure that again I thanked these two ladies for looking out and making our...
