Easy street parking so that’s a plus. There is no where to hang your jacket or put your things, just a chair in a cramped room that reminded me of a hospital. Now to the services. Nina performed a chemical peel for me. Initially she asked about my skincare regimen, but did not provide any recommendations or education. Typically this would be standard for aestheticians who want repeat clientele or at minimum desire to build rapport. I’m not asking for a consultation but if I’m paying 130 for a chemical peel, I would anticipate there is some level of insight beyond only asking what I use for my skin currently. There is no music. So it was completely dead silent as she did my facial minus the sounds of her tapping on her phone. Very off putting and unbecoming if this is supposed to be a venue that is a place of relaxation. I mention this because after visiting a different aesthetician, who was warm, informative and extremely genuine, I now see how subpar this experience was. I felt I was just another dollar sign in and out. She’s not very personable, just polite. Something about it felt performative, and noticeably so. Fast forward to me pondering long enough to decide on cancelling a second service I had scheduled. The portal would not allow me to do so manually, so I had to shoot an email. No response, just a cancelled appointment. Which emphasizes my earlier point of this woman having no semblance of personability. There is such a thing as email etiquette. But based off of what I sensed in her presence, I wasn’t surprised. If you can sense energy and trust your intuition, be the judge for yourself. As for me, Thanks for the goodie bag, but energy doesn’t lie and I...
Read moreGetting electrolysis done at Blush has been such a pleasure! During my first session, the owner, Nina, thoroughly walked me through everything to expect, and helped map out exactly how to schedule my electrolysis appointments to make sure I had the most effective and efficient hair removal. I've been going to Blush since October 2022, it's now October 2023 and I have seen maybe a 75%+ reduction in my hair growth, which I'm so happy about. And what does grow comes in much slower and thinner. Blush is a very clean, calm, and nicely decorated salon. I go to all three electrologists (Nina, Niki, and Mary), and they are all excellent. They will make sure to check in on your pain level and decrease the intensity. It is very quick and easy to set up appointments online, and they offer great discounts for package purchases, as well as specials. If you can't find an appointment to fit your schedule, sign up for the waitlist and they'll let you know if they have an opening available.
Niki, Nina, and Mary are all very nice and friendly and clearly are close friends; it is a fun environment witnessing their work banter. I always feel relaxed and taken care of with them. They are chill and personable, and hilarious! I highly recommend Blush and wish I'd discovered...
Read moreI have been seeing Mary at Blush for electrolysis, hydra-facials, microneedling, waxing, brow tinting, you name it, for over a year. Mary is an incredible esthetician who takes her time to get to know her client's concerns and goals. With any procedure, she consistently checks in with you and makes any adjustments to ensure your comfort throughout the session. Since working with her, my skin has transformed, and on some days I cannot believe how good it looks!
Mary is always open to discussing other services or products that might interest me but is never pushy. She is incredibly easy to talk to, making sessions that are sometimes over a few hours fly by.
The Blush facility is always spotless, organized, and inviting. The other Blush staff members are always super friendly. For electrolysis, a procedure that is sometimes uncomfortable, you can usually hear laughter from clients within the space. This indicates the type of relationships the staff have with their clients. I 100% recommend Blush for your electrolysis and...
