Heather is a truly amazing baker! We have tried vegan desserts in many different cities and even different countries, and no other cake has ever been better than hers! She has such a wonderful variety of cake flavors that you can order whole and also rotates a menu of cupcakes, cookies, and featured cake slices, monthly. Every flavor we have ever had has been outstanding! I am always impressed by how much I love her flavors that are my natural go-to's, but also the flavors I have tried that may not have been my first choice - I am always impressed with how good they are! She puts a lot of thought, care, and dedication into everything she makes and it shows! Her desserts not only rank highest among other vegan desserts we have had, but easily stand up to any non-vegan dessert as well! We have shared her cakes, cookies, etc with some of our non-vegan friends and they were blown away! There’s a reason this small neighborhood shop has 60k+ followers! Tried them one day because of the great name and beyond Instagram-able cakes. Now I make the hour drive multiple times a month, stock up and freeze because they make dairy free a delight. Found out about them after the quar so I’ve only ever preordered online, which is really not hard if you know what you want and set an alarm. Sounds extra BUT they’re more than worth it. They put exact directions/explanations in huge font on their website, so whiny reviews are kinda strange to me when they’ve been operating this (safe n admirable) way for like over a year. But I’ll continue to speed swipe past that wording every Friday to place our order! My entire family is hooked on the cup cakes (they’re even less vegan than me) but we’ve gotten a few cakes, cookies, Rice Krispies too. The cakes are INCREDIBLE! We ordered a chocolate pistachio cake in June, and it was the best chocolate cake of any kind I've ever had. I had family in town for a special occasion, so I got a red velvet cake this time. My family is not easily impressed, and none of us are vegan. But I KNEW if the red velvet was half as good as that chocolate pistachio cake, it would be a hit. Everyone loved it! I had to pack folks extra pieces to take with them.

The cakes are so flavorful, moist, and dense in an excellent way without losing out on a good texture and crumb. There is no flavor I wouldn't trust this bakery with. Pie, Pie My Darling is amazing. It's been a godsend this year, as I've had to avoid dairy. I plan to continue ordering from them after I can have dairy again.
