Florida Food Market — Local services in West Chicago Township

I grew in this neighborhood and after being away for many years I move back and to my surprise Florida's is still around so I took my daughters with to the store just so they can see where I use to hangout at and ofcourse buy some goods and the orginal family is still operating the store. Great store for the community, one of the orginal stores despite the changes in the neighborhood. This store has seen the good time and the bad and instead of closing down like most Florida's has endured and remain open throughout the years maintaining the best quality possible. So if they a little rough sometimes that's because the neighborhood been a little rough to them. So don't be mad cause they are survivor's from the simple beginnings when this neighborhood was safe and through the times when drugs and gun violence was very bad anyone in the neighborhood still alive from the 90s early 2000s you know what I'm talking about. The is one of the few businesses that gave jobs to the neighborhood people no matter the race. This is a family owed store that stayed in the neighborhood that believe in the neighborhood that believe in the people and the kids that walked through they doors just take a look at the lifetime of pictures of kids and people throughout the years that they proudly display right in front by their register. So if anyone has anything bad to say about Florida Food Market then they obviously don't know the history. Thank You for sticking it out and leaving us.
