A Loyal Fan Left Utterly Disappointed at West Chicago Ave Culver's It honestly pains me to write this review. For the past two years, discovering Culver's has been a game-changer for my fast-food choices. I've become a devoted fan, practically ignoring all other options. Whether I'm cruising around on my motorcycle during out-of-town trips or just grabbing a quick bite in the city, Culver's has been my consistent go-to. With only a few locations in Chicago, I was initially thrilled to have one so conveniently located on my route home from work at 4347 W Chicago Ave. However, this particular Culver's has been a significant letdown, especially when compared to the numerous other locations I've visited. While I might have a decent experience maybe three out of seven times, the inconsistencies are frustrating. Today, though, was the absolute last straw. After sitting in the drive-thru for well over ten minutes without even a greeting or acknowledgement, I simply gave up and drove off. Mind you I absolutely have no problem waiting for good food Culver's is one of the places I have no problem waiting because I know it's going to come out good but I didn't even get a hello as well as there was only three total cars in the Drive-Thru to waiting and one at the pay area so.🤔🤔 This isn't an isolated incident. I've experienced watered-down drinks, undercooked food, and a drive-thru system that seems perpetually chaotic, leaving you stuck behind an unnecessary number of cars. It's a stark contrast to the efficient and pleasant experiences I've consistently had at other Culver's locations. Living in Chicago, we don't have a plethora of Culver's options, which makes this location's shortcomings even more disappointing. If you're in the area and craving Culver's, I would wholeheartedly recommend spending the extra 20 minutes and heading to the location at 6943 W Roosevelt Rd, Berwyn, IL 60402. Trust me, your taste buds and your patience will thank you. This West Chicago Avenue location simply doesn't live up to the Culver's standard I've come to know and love, and it's a real shame. I still love Culver's but this location brings a bad name from here on this location no longer...
Read moreThey're new maybe they'll get better? The food was very good. It took about 30-40 min to get to me but it was good. They weren't busy but they had a lot of wrong orders that night. They are friendly and tried to be helpful. They need to be more organized. They need to work out the number system. I was 41 and there was another 41, minutes after me she got my milkshake they had to give me a new milkshake. The guy from the kitchen who was a cook got alot of people's order sorted he was the best. He organized some of the cashier who tried to be servers. I don't think he's the manager but he should be or at least the assistant manager. The bathroom where clean and well stocked the restaurant was clean. The security guard was very nice. I want to say people need to be more understanding cause if you order is wrong scream at some kid isn't going to get it right and fast. It's just going to delay it and other people's orders. I think most of the wrong orders where wrong because customers think fast food mean food right this minute. Hopefully they will get better and maybe last night was a bad night. Maybe day time is better. I am still going to go back. That fish sandwich made with real Alaskan Cod (not pollock or scrod) is the best I had! They didn't even cook it hard and offered a better side than fries. Also customer need to know what they want it took a lady 10 minutes and 2 cashier and the cook guy to get it right. She orderd the same thing 3 time but instead of say I need 3 of this order it sounded like all of them where different things. Then look at me with a sigh like "they need to do better right." No if you want a single burger and a meal say that. Not "I like a single burger and a meal, and a single burger and a meal, and a single burger and a meal. And for the first single burger and a meal, I'd like a shake instead of a fountain drink , for the second single burger and a meal, I'd like a shake instead of fountain drink and so on. How can you mess a order like that up? (That was sarcasm a Culver that been opened for years would get that...
Read moreCome on Culver's it is to soon for a new location to start declining, I paid for a cheese sauce, but I got cold cheese sauce with only a pump of cheese, I paid full price for it, I expect my whole amount of cheese! And the fries are all suggy, not done properly, so I couldn't enjoy the large fries and cheese I paid for!
I spent $29 and I get scraps instead of fresh food .
I am tired of losing money to any corporation, why can't I get everything I ordered before I leave this Culver's!
How hard is it to make sure I asked for is in the bag! My wife won't eat the food now because you all forget to pilot the salt and ketchup in the bag which is clearly on the receipt, the trip before this one my cod dinner I asked for an extra tarter sauce,it was on my receipt, I went back in and and when I told them I was missing my second tarter sauce the person asked to see my receipt which was in my vehicle, so I go back out to retrieve my receipt, I spent $29 and I have to go back to my vehicle to retrieve a receipt for the one other tarter sauce!
This is unbelievable, do you all need m to train and manage the staff at this location?
This is unacceptable, I know people can be forgetful but everything is on your receipts and displays before giving it to the customer! Now who is going to refund my money I lost on the purchase because of a simple mistake? I qm the one always losing because someone half fast thier jobs.
This is getting longer and longer, I just ordered a pot roast sandwich how in the hell is it I ended up with a Ruben sandwich, I don't even like Ruben sandwiches, not what I ordered, wish they give you your receipt before you leave the drive thru window, all this is unacceptable, I don't feel like driving back so I am stuck
I think some of their employees smoke to much or had their mind preoccupied, they don't listen to your orders, I never ask for a large drink, and the two drinks I ordered was supposed to be no ice, why was I at their drive thru window for 5+ minutes.
