I had a nose piercing done a week ago at this location. I almost didn’t get it done because the receptionist looked annoyed and was not very friendly. She didn’t greet my partner and I, she just asked what we needed when we walked to the desk. She stated for me to give her my Id and informed us that my partner would have to stay up front while I got the piercing which that part was fine but the tone and body language was not very pleasant. Then piercer however was very friendly which made the experience a little better. Fast forward to today we walk in the shop my friend and I. She’s there for a nose piercing. We were greeted we spoke first letting them know she needed a piercing. The piercer informs me that if I’m not getting anything I have to wait outside due to covid which was different than last week. In my head I’m like ok. I began to inform him that my piercing was sinking underneath my skin and he walked me to the back to fix it long story short. Afterwards while leaving from the back my friends head to the back to get her piercing and there’s a couple in the lobby which is Latino. I did not hear the receptionist tell them that they have to wait outside but, while I stop to zipped my purse she made sure to say you have to wait outside like I didn’t get that same memo when I first came into the shop less than 10 minutes prior. While in Chicago I decided to get a dermal. Did Google search and found shops that do piercings. Call a few spots and came across Forever Ink. Called for appointment and pricing, came in a few hours later. The gentleman that did my dermal made me feel comfortable. He explained everything as he was doing it. I was expecting it to be painful, however it wasn't. Process was quick and felt like a pinch, slight sting with a little pressure. I literally winced twice and was ready to do another one after. (I didn't tho 😂) He advise I wait until this one heals. He also explained after care answering all my questions. Pricing included jewelry $50! I'm very pleased with the process and my new piercing! I was there for maybe 15mins or less. I absolutely recommend!!!

Edit: about a few days or so later got black eye due to piercing (this is normal). I just keep it clean with alcohol wipes and a&d ointment. Bruising and swelling went away about a week later. Also seems to be...

First time I came here it was for a nose piercing. The woman was really nice she explained how it would feel and then afterwards what I should do for aftercare. The nose piercing healed beautifully, so I decided to go back for a septum piercing this time it was done by Mario. He was really nice and funny, very professional and he even let me off the hook when I told him that I had came there before to get my nose pierced and received a card for a free piercing after 5 piercings and I mentioned that I actually threw it away. Lol. He gave me another card and punched two holes for me. He was very caring and pierced my septum perfectly. Before leaving he told me how to take care of it just as the lady did.
