They offer good pastries and coffee to go... but they need to really do better with their sandwiches. The sandwiches are made with their freshly baked bread but not much in them to satisfy! The "bone in ham" we requested in our breakfast sandwiches was obsolete. There are upcharges for things like this so no matter how busy it is, if your customers are waiting for more than 20 minutes for their sandwiches, you should always prepare your sandwiches as ordered and do better with using enough ingredients and stop being skimpy on meat or any other ingredients. Some people may have HIV, hepatitis and other conditions worse than covid, that can be contagious to people. I will never support this business again. If restaurant’s owners really care about their business and their clients (the ones paying their salaries) they should fight back to have equal service for vaccinated an unvaccinated people. Asking for “private information” is discrimination. Now we have segregation in 2022. Vaccinated and unvaccinated get covid and are contagious to others. Guess restaurant are going to run out of...
Read moreThe staff and owners of this community Cornerstone, with a capital C, have provided a fun, neighborly, inviting atmosphere for them 26 years I’ve been living here… and longer. They have never not had a smile in their face. They’ve greeted every customer that enters with a warm, genuine, and heartfelt-friendly ‘hi’, or ‘hola’ that makes you feel truly welcome va They bake their bread and pastries true to their Puerto Rican roots and they share their passion for the Island and its culture with a passion that is both flavorful and addicting.
My wife aged I enjoy going there during our walks for their hospitality, and during the summer months…the amazing passion fruit lemonade.
Next time you’re in the neighborhood, stop in for the love, stay for the coffee...
