Blaze Chicago actually has vape juices and devices, for nicotine not just THC/CBD related goods. It seems that these days just about all "vape" shops are primarily head/smoke (THC/Tobacco) shops. Not this one.

I highly recommend this shop. The owner says she's been running this shop for 8 years. She's very friendly and knowledgeable, even offered to attempt to have coils for my devices and my favorite juices in-stock for my next visit.

The shop entrance is ADA ready, wide and wheelchair accessible. Shop interior is very clean, well lit and laid out, easily ADA/wheelchair navigable. Parking is street only, with ADA loading areas at either side of the corner Blaze Chicago is located on.

I left this place feeling humiliated. I went there to buy a couple of things, and the whole time I was kind and respectful to the lady behind the desk. I asked her a couple of questions, even asked for permission before I could touch a jar I was considering buying. After I paid for my stuff, I reached over with my hand to grab one of the items that I had purchased so I could put it in my pocket. The lady behind the desk suddenly tells me "can you please not reach over?". I was a bit caught off guard, specially since I was nowhere near her and what I was picking up had already been paid for. Then she tells me "this is my bubble". She actually said "bubble". And then she wraps it up by saying "Is this a typical thing for Spaniards to do?". I was so baffled and embarrassed that I could not wait to get out of there. Was she racist? I've never experienced anything like this in my life so its hard for me to tell. It's a shame because they are my neighbors but now I'm too...

Today was my fourth time coming to the shop. Good variety and I like their products. Now, two things happened that I was quite uncomfortable, the first one I bought a cartridge for my vape and they gave me the wrong one (it’s ok, that happen) but when I returned the item the lady in the shop gave me $5 cash back, I told her that I paid with card and the credit back was $6.65. $1.65 of difference is not much and I don’t really care, but transparency.

Today I went to grab some stuff and the person in the shop had quite awful mood. No greetings, every time I asked something their reply came with a groggy response etc. I asked for recommendations and all they said was “idk that product came today”, and that was it. Engaging with the client is quite important I guess?
