I went looking for a vanity chair. A very nice lady showed me around and suggested a couple that I mite be interested in. I was very impressed with the all the unique antiques they have and could spend all day looking at everything. However, I doubt I will return. While the lady was showing me some vanity chairs another older lady came and ask what I was looking for. I told her and she said they didn't have any. I had just been shown a couple that I was possibly interested in. But she was very positive they had nothing of the sort. She continued to follow us around and made me feel very uncomfortable, as if I didn't belong there. As I was leaving I happened to ask about a chair I noticed on the way out and she told me I would need to save my money then come back. I'm sorry but the chair was less than $100, I'm pretty damn sure I can afford $100 even on a bad day how dare she assume I couldn't. I went to another antique store and purchased a chair. Not only will I not be back, I won't buy from their online auction and will advise anyone I know that is in the market for antiques to spend their money somewhere else! I feel sorry for the vendors that have their merchandise there because my budget for a vanity chair was up to $200. But I ended up finding exactly what I was wanted for way less than $100. And I didn't even have to...
Read moreUsually I would never leave a review especially a bad one because I understand everyone has bad days and also businesses can have bad days as well. However, today I wanted to let it be known that I did not feel welcome in this establishment at all the store itself is lovely good selection decent pricing on some items. However, the woman behind the counter that I had interactions with I’m not sure if she was having. is something that happened earlier however, I was not welcomed by her at all her demeanor was cold, and unwilling to Help in anyway as I was about to check out, I asked to view some jewelry that was locked inside of a case and upon this request, she grown inside and looked as if I had asked the world of her after that final interaction I had changed my mind on the items that I had already had in my basket. And I ended up not purchasing anything at this establishment. I’m terribly sorry for this experience for not only myself, but for others if they have experienced it too I hope in the future better...
Read moreThis is most likely my favorite out of all of the antique stores in Columbia, I visit here nearly every week to see the new items when they arrive. The prices are very competitive to the equivalents found online. The employee Robbie is very nice and is fun to talk to about the items. The items in store are everything from women's jewelry to World War 1 helmets and military collectables. Overall one of my favorite places to go to in Columbia, if you enjoy antiques this place should be #1 on your...
