So I initially only stopped here because I had not had breakfast or lunch, and after noticing a smoker outside of the Citgo, I figured "I may as well." Well dang. I mean DANG! For $15 dollars I got a big portion of hot, meaty, juicy, ribs that fell right off of the rib. I couldn't get enough of them, and it's a bummer that they were out of chicken by the time I came (which was closing time). They have limited hours (I think Saturdays until 2pm), no drinks, and they are cash only, so bear that in mind. The only negative was being approached by a persistent panhandler while munching away in the parking lot, but I should have known better. Run, don’t walk to this place! It is amazing! The seasoning is fabulous. The chicken is cooked to perfection with excellent grilled flavor. They have a green sauce that is avocado and jalapeños, that makes an excellent accompaniment to the chicken. And as of May 2025, a half chicken is only eight dollars.
