We were in the process of building our pool and kept seeing beautiful pool loungers in other people’s photos. It was 2020 so most stores were operating online only. I asked our builder about them and he told me that most of his clients really never used them. Primarily because they sit so low making it is hard to get in and out of them and the budget loungers tend to mold. After searching all over the internet for QUALITY pool loungers, I found some at Tropic Aire. I called the store and I explained that I was concerned about how low the loungers sat because I had bad knees etc. She understood my concerns and had the perfect solution! Tropitone loungers with pedestals! We ordered them and it was absolutely the right choice. We bring them inside during our off season and have never had any issues with mold. last summer I had knee surgery and was told that I couldn’t submerge my leg in the pool water- for at least 6 weeks. First time ever writing a critical review, but Tropic Aire earned zero stars rating from us
When the owner of the store hangs up on you because he didn’t want to deliver a few items back after: 1) Tropic Aire asked us to return items for them to inspect and fix because of manufacturing issues. 2) An employee who stated in front of two of us that they would fix and get the items back to us. Of course we assumed there would be no charge for this since you would think they would want stand behind the products they sell and keep a new customer happy. Nope: “That would cost us to much to deliver” the owner said. Our reply was he probably won’t be getting a great review from us. With that he hung up saying “I won’t be threatened”. Wow!!!! Apparently a bad review would be threatening!! In any event, we have already had two different people ask us where we got our furniture. Read moreI spent 5K with them for pool furniture. I paid in January 2021. They told me about 8 weeks until delivery. 9 weeks later it came!! But not everything.. I was told that one of my chairs fell off the truck and they would have another one to me in a week. A week and a half go by nothing. I called them and was told it was not re-ordered. Called me back that afternoon and suddenly they had one. Then told me I had to wait another 2 weeks because that’s when they would be in Chapin next... So I pay you 5K and have to wait 12 weeks? Poor customer service.. you lost my chair when you realized you had another one I should have been priority since my delivery was incomplete. They don’t seem to value clients here.
