Cook Out — Restaurant in West Columbia

So I get cookout, this cookout only, every Sunday night after work. It's nearly midnight when I get there, and it's always the same..... The same AMAZING Customer service. I have worked customer service jobs, and I know when you are tired it can be really hard but the wonderful people here go above and beyond. I really appreciate all the wonderful jobs that they do. I've read some of the reviews and am blown away by people's poor expectations. It's not $100 per meal, BUT this is high quality food and open super late. It doesn't matter if it's not perfect, it's pretty great, open late, and better than any other alternative. Waffle house and Whataburger can't compete with Cookout, specifically this cookout. I’ve visited this location twice since they have opened, and BOTH times were not a good experience. The first time, they left out a chicken wrap, and a drink. This time, (8/7/25) They gave us 2 trays that were wrong… and 3 of them were “right”. Except, We wanted Cajun fries, and got regular fries! We took the wrong orders back to the restaurant to get them fixed. We mentioned how the other trays were supposed to have Cajun fries, but got regular fries. The manager says “I put some Cajun seasoning in a bag for you” so instead of FIXING the fries, she just dumps some seasoning into a small bag! Lol. Very unprofessional. EDIT: dang this location went downhill fast! Please fire the young lady with the dark hair who works in the window. Man her attitude is RANK and she has forgotten items more than once! Terrible customer service. It’s a shame.
