Went shopping today for a homecoming dress for my daughter in Dillards juniors department. We found one she liked that was the right fit and color she wanted, however it had a torn belt loop lots of stay threads and a couple snags and was incredibly wrinkled It was full price even with the defects but she really liked it and I figured I could fix the flaws. I went to purchase it and asked the cashier if they could discount it for the flaws. The cashier said well maybe buts itās only a 10% discount and Iāll have to ask someone elseā¦someone else comes and I ask her the same question and she tells me āwell it would only be a 10% discount and Iāll have to call someone elseā š¤¦š»āāļøHow many people does it take to authorize a 10% discount? She acted like I was asking to get the dress for free or scam them somehow! I explained to them it wasnāt about the money itās the fact that the dress is damaged and is full price. They were such jerks I said āyou know what itās ok Iāll pay full price for a damaged dressāā¦and I did! They are now getting a one star review for poor customer service and just being jerks in general. I wish we would have gone to Von Maur they are always a class act! Dillardās has turned into an expensive Burlington...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDillard's lead staff, I'm going to request this as respectfully as I can. Would you please be so kind as to remind your sales staff to be respectful? Today while being helped by one of your staff at a sales counter, two young ladies thought it'd be a good time to laugh at either myself and/or their colleague who was assisting me, and you could tell this was absolutely hysterical to them. The jokes and mumbling went on consistently, and thus myself and your sales rep assisting me both felt uncomfortable, but credit to her for keeping her composure. I am overwhelmed by how unprofessional these two ladies opted to be at this particular moment, especially being an individual in multiple sales/commission roles myself, even to this very day. I was prepared to spend a good amount of money on a couple products I'd done my research on, but elected to leave instead due to the distraction and childish acting of these two ladies. Again, it DOES NOT matter what it was over -- carry yourself like a young...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe person working in the dress section was unbelievably rude! Demanding and curt and basically making customers do her job. Yelled at someone else for not putting a dress on the hanger which was over the top. Another woman walked up to me and said don't use the other dressing room (a different dept) because they were really rude to her, so it wasn't just the one I used. I like this store normally, so maybe they just have new staff. But treating people like this is not how you win customers. I found a $300 dress at this store but bought it from another store, I refuse to give this one my business. BUT - I also bought perfume from here and the person that helped me was amazing! So that's why 3 stars and not 1. Good thing I shopped for perfume first or that would've been another lost sale. Better have some training upstairs Dillards! It takes quite a bit for me to leave a harsh review, so this experience was pretty bad with...
