Five Below — Local services in West Des Moines

I've been to this new store at Merle Hay Mall twice now, and as a mother to a young daughter, I have to say I absolutely love this place!! Everything is $5 or under (only exception are the iPhone cases [OF COURSE] which are $5.77 I believe). This is a great place to get gifts, especially for women (adult, teen, child), and kids.

They have an array of kids games & toys, posters, room decor/organization, throw pillows, super cute keychains/magnets, huge selection of makeup, art supplies (gel pens, colored pencil sets, journals, "wreck it" journals, gratitude journals, sketch books, small canvases, slime, books full of either crosswords or word searches & more!), some clothes, tech gear, and even holiday decorations! They also have a huge selection of candies - I admit I had to purchase a few that were Nostalgic to me (Mario "?" box w/ candy inside that you can use as a little tin if you want), and a Reptar Cereal tin (90s kid!!)... They had a big selection of candy! Candy buttons, gummy candy pizzas, sushi, hamburger, chinese takeout noodles (so cute!!), some I never heard of! My daughter was thrilled.

They also have a selection of t-shirts, pajamas, socks, slippers, etc AND a section for dogs. I'm so glad this store came to Des Moines, I know I'll be buying there for cute little Christmas gifts!

Call the store back in May and explain to them that I was double charged tell them I would not be back in Des Moines until June 3rd the gentleman that I spoke to said that he would take my name and just to bring the receipt and I would get my money well the lady that was in charge didn't even look for my name and she told me no made me mad right away then I explained to her that the cord that I had bought did not work and she said that if it is not in the package and sealed she cannot refund me my money how can you know if something is defective if you don't try it come on people she told me I had to leave her store and I told her I was not leaving and she started copping an attitude with me so I copped one right back my blood pressure was up the part that made me the most mad she didn't even look to see if there was a message she automatically told me NO the one thing that she did not get is I drive 2 hours always shop at that store when I come down here and I spend quite a bit of money she was just too...

These stores are AMAZING ! They have such a great variety of things at very reasonable prices ! In today's economy does like these along with the different dollar stores area big help for people to be able to afford not so necessary items ! You do have to watch some items however, being such good values aren't always that. I've only ran across a couple of those, one being a pair of head phones. However, the phone headphones I've purchased there have all been good ! The fun part is - you just NEVER KNOW WHAT you might run across & FIND THERE ‼️ I've found some really unexpected & fun ITEMS & some VERY useful ITEMS... LIKE the cord holders I purchased last VISIT ‼️ Their inventory changes periodically so don't give it just one chance, shop every so often if you get a chance ! Some stores have more variety & inventory than OTHERS as well ! SO when you get a chance try checking out different ones in...
