There were some bigger people working today at 2:30ish and both of them were extremely racist towards us. The woman started asking us where we are from and EVEN SUGGESTED we were from Salvador just from our skin tone alone, which is extremely unprofessional since we are BORN AND RAISED from the USA.
At first I thought it was because we aren’t clearly from Iowa but when she suggested a whole different country solidified the whole situation to me. The woman even had the audacity to start mumbling stuff under her breath right in front of us.
We were extremely hungry from traveling, so at this point we still ordered or we would’ve left. This was the first time we ever been to this franchise and while the process of making the sub, she repeatedly acted as if she didn’t understand us even though she heard the first time and it’s not like I have an accent because I don’t, I don’t even speak another language outside of English.
The service overall ruined our meal. It was horrendous service and it would’ve been fine if the woman just did her job instead of letting her bias towards us affect her job.

The place didn't seem very clean but if it was, they lost confidence in me with the utter lack of desire when the woman behind the register seemed put out by our very small order. Very awkward, very very slow and now my potato soup tastes like mush with salt. We wanted a meatball sandwich but after a sigh and checking on the empty container, she told us it was going to be a while. Not sure what that meant but I'm guessing North of 1/2 hour was within the likely range. Masks not worn well and both workers seemed to have colds.
Why am I rating it 2 and not lower? I've had better (not great) experiences here in the past and the sandwich was tasty and I love the first responder support they market.

Read moreI downloaded the app last night and arrived at the store and no order was received. I showed the email with my order and they made it. They need to fix the issues with the app not working or generated an email or train the employees how to access that information. Overall my experience was ok but I'm not going through the app again. It's great to have a simple way but when it doesn't work and theres issues it needs to be checked. That way the employees are on the same page and problems can be fixed. Less problems for employees equals productive employees. Overall I had a great experience for the first time at this location. Fairly understandimg staff, they told me they had problems with the orders not being received on Monday regarding the app. Again it needs to be checked.
