This place is very poorly ran. The ceilings were constantly water damaged and tiles breaking apart and falling which were left in the hallways for days, there were roaches, and no air conditioning for a month when it was 98°+ outside. You couldn't shower and feel clean because as soon as you got out of the shower you were instantly sweating again. When an attempt was made to fix the air, an electrical fire was started. I left for work with fire trucks packing up equipment and came back to blacked out, deserted parking lot, a blacked out, and completely empty building, and not a single person around but a little typed up noted posted on the door referring to the fire and the fire department not allowing re-entry to the building anf that was it. If you called the office they had a recording telling you about the fire and the soonest date you could possibly have access back. They failed to tell anyone about RedCross assistance for a place to sleep and some food, they didn't tell you anything but an updated access date that kept getting pushed out for 4 days. Very very unprofessional the way they handled this. I literally had to close on my back and nothing else because it was in my room I didn't have access to for 4 days. They do not take into consideration that the reason people are staying there is because more than likely they don't have anywhere else to go or they probably wouldn't be there paying astronomical rates, and they not one time mentioned RedCross assistance. At the time I was job hunting and had to call 4 potential employers back and attempt to reschedule the interviews, of which only 1 rescheduled and the other 3 I lost completely. There was no consideration taken into account for these types of things, or things like not being able to take a shower because all our personal hygiene is in our rooms. Once re-entry with gained to the building and our rooms, I walk in to see all of my personal things covered in mold spores. I immediately reported this to proper way I was told to through the app on Friday. I didn't hear anything from them or get any kind of response until the following Tuesday and the response I got was a stop in the hallway real quick asking if I had gotten the situation taken care of. Which yes as a matter of fact I did because it was obvious they weren't too worried about it and also just the tiny little fact that it is dangerous to a person's health to sit and breath in mold day in and day out. Was also told that it was something to be expected with the conditions due to the fire, the moisture, and the heat of no air or electricity for 4 days. No offer of compensation for anything from the place itself other than a measly credit to your account for $178 equal to the 4 days of being unaccessible. Okay what about the couple hundred dollars of food that got spoiled from my refrigerator or the hundreds of dollars in personal belongings that got tossed out because mold spores growing all over everything or the heat exhaustion that was endured because of having no air conditioning when it is 98° real temp outside and there's no windows you have a patio door so there's no way to get air flow or a breeze , the solution was being told to go purchase your own air unit and fans. And the food was replenished by the food pantry coming out. Here I am moved out for over 30 days and cleaned the room pretty much a spotless, and I have no deposit back nor do I have a way to actually make contact with a person that I can speak with to ask questions regarding the deposit. I have better worse places than that overly priced, run down, pit. I would not recommend staying here to anybody unless no reason really period I would rather...
Read moreThis place (including the owner and employees) is nothing as it appears. They will lock you out of your room and charge you for a service animal pet deposit when the service animal is a medical and emotional service animal. They allow themselves into your room when they feel like it with no heads up at all. They change the price also after you pay. So when going based of their ads they post via fb. (The owner is the they comment) and they state 300 and in the details state 1000.00 for a month then when your needing to do weekly the amount increases. They put slips of paper even though they have an entire working app that your supposed to submit maintenance request to that they never follow thru with. An the way they feel that is affective to communicate anything is to lock your door with my dog being in the room and expecting myself to leave her over night because they felt something was off. It was a disaster to say the least and I most definitely will be seeing them in court very very soon. But please for the love of God run as far away as possible from this disaster... I wouldn't rate it one star but I had to with their not being an option for zero stars. They take advantage of the pour people who have no other choice n abuse it. It's sickening and very sad. Also their is never anyone in the office either i have proof for days and don't get locked out because they will charge the 25.00 fee most definitely but won't unlock the door. I dealt with that upon the very first day...
