Arhaus — Local services in West Hartford

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at ARHAUS. I purchased a bed in March and specifically chose one that was guaranteed to be delivered within two weeks, only because the bed I originally wanted was on backorder until June. Here we are, months later, and I still don’t have a bed.

Every time I’ve followed up with the store, I’ve been given a different delivery date. And every time I’m promised a call with an update, that call never comes. I’ve had to show up at the store just to be told something new each time. The last time I went in, there was another couple just as frustrated, clearly going through the same thing, so it’s not just me.

At this point, I truly feel like I was misled just to close a sale. If I had been told the truth, I would’ve gone to a different store. Instead, I’ve been sleeping with my mattress on the floor for over two months, in a fully furnished bedroom, just waiting on the one piece they promised would be here quickly.

We first started to work with Arhaus -west farms a few months ago when we remodeled the house we purchased. We worked with George from day 1 and he has been amazing, every single time. He got to know us, and knows what would work on our space and our style. Our designer was Stephanie, who is incredible! She visited our home, took measurements and created a presentation for the majority of our living spaces. We have never felt pressured into buying in a rush and went back and forth on the design ( all free of charge), and we have bought pieces we love!
